The Phinsider Extremely upset, but...

I cannot remember the last time I felt this upset...oh wait...1-15...that is when.  I am sure I echo the feelings of 99% of all Dolphins fans when i say...i feel sick.  Twenty-one points off of special teams is unacceptable.  Against the Jets, too many points off of Special Teams.  This obviously cannot continue, and I don't know what needs to be done.  I just read the tweet from Brian Hartline that said "Sorry Dolfans!!! Hang with us.  We will get it fixed...I promise that".  And I guess that is where I felt I needed to make a fanpost.

Just saw this on ESPN.com. I know that we need to move on from the whole JT fiasco, but I really feel that JT followed the $$$. I am with the FO.

The Phinsider Expectations...

This is my first fan post, so be gentle or flame away!  I have been spending alot of time reading posts, trying to chime in during games and basically be a good fan.  After last year I was completely on the bandwagon for us to go all the way.  It seemd like it was our time.  We were the team of the 80's, the Bills were the 90's, and the Pats since then.  In a perfect rotation ( I always leave the Jets out), it is our time again.  But the recent loss (and the sad endings to the Colts/Saints games) have made me question am I expecting too much too soon.

After the end of the Cam tragedy, I knew it was going to be at least 3 years until we would become a better team.  I put all my faith in the Trifecta, and began to scout out what it would take for us to be successful again.  Then came 11-5, and my 3 year plan went out the window...I was seeing the Super Bowl in Miami...starring the Miami Dolphins.  Obviously, we are not destined for that this year.  While our playoff hopes are not dead, we are simply not the team to beat this year.  My expectations were high, but I have been brought back down to earth.

I am just curious as each week we call for the firing of PP and DH, are we expecting too much too soon.  I am back to feeling I should have stuck with my gut on the minimum of the 3 year plan.  Everone was waiting for the Ted Ginn show from all we heard during training camp, it didnt happen.  The injuries have taken CP10, half of the R&R Express, Will Allen, JFerg....ect.  The question I pose to you fellow Phinsiders is did we expect too much too soon, or are we being failed by our coaches/players?
