Hey everyone,
This is a Kings' fan from across the globe.. Athens, Greece. For more than a month, one the of the Greek teams here -Olympiacos- is searching for an NBA Point Guard. They were close to signing Pargo, but he rejected the offer although it was financially better than the ones he got in the NBA. After failing to sign him, Olympiacos is now after Keith McLeod.

To my surprise today, I read in a Greek newspaper that the negotiations were broken down again because of the Sacramento Kings!

I have a blog myself in Greek about the NBA so I'm reading the news everyday, but still I haven't found anything about McLeod to the Kings. So I thought this was a good chance to make a first diary post over here.

Anyways, the article says that Olympiacos is offering 1.3 million $ "clean" per year to McLeod , meaning that he'll get the whole amount with no taxes involved. At the last moment however, "the Kings stepped in and McLeod put Olympiacos on hold and his manager asked for some more days to think about it".

As it's been said before, I still don't understand why we need another backup PG like McLeod or Wilks since Shakur/Jeter aren't much worse and of course Salmons/Douby/Garcia can also play the point for some minutes.

All I can hope for right now is for an unexpected checkmate move by Petrie or at least for O.J. Mayo. PS. It's probably all Greek to you, but here's the link anyway http://www.sport-fm.gr/news.jsp?newsID=95261
