OT: Coliseum Change For Football

I remember at one point there was a video of how they change the coliseum from a baseball field to a football field for Raiders games and all the equipment it required to add/remove the seats. It was really a cool thing to see. I searched this site and a few others sites, googled a few things, and couldn't find it anywhere.

Does anyone have a link to a video of the coliseum's transformation for football?

Larry Davis named to All Star Team

Larry Davis will be the athletic trainer for the AL All Star Team.

OAKLAND -- Larry Davis, who is in his 10th season as the head athletic trainer for the A's, was selected on Thursday to serve in a similar role for the American League team at the 2007 All-Star Game at San Francisco's AT&T Park on July 10.

Byung-Hyun Kim?

According to the Denver Post the Oakland A's have shown interest in acquiring Byung-Hyun Kim.

I am not sure this is the best move that they could make for a 5th starter. Even with Kennedy's bad spring I don't think Kim will out-perform him.

Jon Leiber is also being shopped by the Phillies. He would make a much better 5th starter for the A's even though he would be more expensive than Kim.

Mike Rouse Claimed by the Cleveland Indians

I don't know if this was reported already, but Mike Rouse was claimed by the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday after the A's designated for assignment to make room on the 40 man roster for D'Angelo Jimenez.

Was it a mistake for the A's to choose Jimenez over Rouse? I think so.

D'Angelo Jimenez really hasn't done much for the A's this season. At least Rouse has shown that he can hit in the majors when he had that good series against the Yankees.

Zito Signs with Boras

Acoording to ESPN Barry Zito has signed with Scott Boras in preparations for Free Agency.

This is definetly going to make it difficult for the A's to resign, which looked very unlikely anyways. This is more reason we should trade him now so we can get more benefit from his departure.

Should Oakland trade for Ben Broussard?

Would it be worth while for the A's to trade for Ben Broussard?

What do you think it would take to get him and would it be worth it.

With Eduardo Perez being dealed to the Mariners and Victor Martinez being moved to 1b due to lack of Catching ability and Ryan Garko being called up I think that Ben Broussard has to be on the market.

I think if we move DJ to another team and trade for Broussard it would be moer beneficial to the team.

This opens up the opportunity for more platooning.

At 1b we could have Nick Swisher against Lefties and Ben Broussard against Righties.

At LF we could have Bobby Kielty against Lefties and Nick Swisher against Righties.

What are you thoughts about this?

Bart and his pal were working a scam of painting house numbers on the curb and charging the people for their work that they didnt ask for.

When Homer refuses to pay them Bart and his crew leave one digit off his number. Homer says he will get it done himself and he won't screw it up.

His curb ends up saying 74Oakland A's - Greatest Team Ever

This officially makes Simpsons the greatest show on television.

Pepsi can tickets

Does anyone know the deal with the bleacher seats for 5 dollars when you bring in a Pepsi can.

Does it work on the weekends?

Is there ant special cans you have to bring in or can it be any Pepsi can?

Is there limited amount of these tickets that they sell?
