Born and raised in London, England, before moving to Canada in 2004 (primarily for the weather), I've been a pathological sports fanatic my entire life. If there's a round or oval object being thrown through the air, kicked into a net, hit with some kind of bat, or thrown through a cylindrical hoop, I'm down.

Despite my country of origin, not exactly a hotbed of basketball fandom, (although Luol Deng reps my hometown well) I grew up a massive fan of the NBA. I was a neutral follower of the league before crossing the pond, at which point I decided to adopt the Raptors--partly because it's a lot more fun to invest your irrational emotions in one team, and partly because there wasn't enough pain in my life as a sports fan. I support Manchester United--I've been far too spoiled.
