Two things... When is the next BSH Podcast? also Does anyone have any good hockey podcasts they listen to? I listen to Puck Podcast, BSH, and Rink side radio. Are their any other good ones out there that have consistant episodes, and overall a good show??  Since i'm over in china i'm just trying to get my hockey fix on and something to listen too while i'm at the gym and taking public transit.

 Just saw this article no more Wachovia Center... So many name changes i miss the days of the F U Center those were the best... Wells Fargo hmmm i wonder if we can think of any clever nicknames for this one. I really wish they could just call the arena "The Broad Street Bullies Center" or Hextall's House i mean those are bad names but you know what i mean just something that can reflect the city or teams.

I just wanted to see if you had GM power this offseason What are the moves you would make? With these moves when you post them there needs to be some realism to them. Not like Trade Carter for The Sedin Brothers....

In my dream off season my first move would be to Trade Carter ( Trust me I know he's a good player even though I hate his lets take 2 step into the zone and wrist shot...or the breakaway always going to the backhand But i give Briere shit for his wrap around tries all the time.... but he is the best trade assest we got)

My Dream Trade Would be to the CBJ Carter for Umberger and Mason( I know he had a rough sophmore run but he is young and can bounce back)

Second thing I would do is SIGN GIROUX give the man like 3-4 million a year for 8 years

Third thing by clearing up some cap with the Carter Trade go sign Maxim Afinogenov This guy like Umberger has some heart....

Fourth I know the D needs some help well the 5th and 6th men but I don't think they are as bad as some 5th and 6th D man out there they just need some conditioning and chemistry Ryan Parent needs to stay healthy and learn to use his body like Pronger and Oskars will be alright

Leino Briere Harts

JVR Giroux Afinogenov

Lappy Betts Carbomb

Hopefully this dream offseason is resonable to fit under cap space and what not....Side note I would Bring Leighton back one more year but i feel he will be asking way to much

Hey all just wanted to see what everyone's opinion was of the first half of the season. First half MVP? First Half Surprise player? Who are you most disappointed with?  Who needs to have the big second half to get this team going? Who will be gone by the trade deadline?

To answer my own question

First half MVP = Chris Pronger
First half Surprise = Blair Betts For a 4th line guy he brings alot to the table

First half Disappointment= Mike Richards

Who needs a big second half= Flyers Goaltending.... the Peter Laviolette system seem to be getting there scoring touch back so that’s why I said goaltending.

Who will be Gone at the deadline= Jeff Carter
