LSU fan here. I am curious to hear what you guys have to say about DeWayne Walker as a DC. I will admit that I don' t really know much about Walker.

Do you like him? He seems like a standup disciplinarian type of coach. What types of defensive schemes does he like to run? I read somewhere that his preference is to play man coverage in the secondary? Does that seem to fit what most Bruin fans would think about him.

What are his blitzing tendencies?

Love to hear your thoughts on him.

LSU - Florida Game Musings....

LSU Fan here. I am super pumped about this game. Last year's game was such an up and down roller-coaster, I expect nothing less this year.

What is the feel in Florida about this game? I would have to say that most LSU fans I have spoken to are cautiously optimistic. We all know that our QB's are inexperienced and could easily get lit up this game and we also know that Tim Tebow is one dangerous dude, but Charles Scott and our O line have really gelled thus far in the year.

Our D has some definite holes in the secondary, mainly due to scheming i think. Also, our huge D-line plays the run well, but I think will have trouble ever catching Tebow from behind.

What are somethings that most LSU fans probably don't know about Florida's team this year? I think we all know that James is a big ST threat. Harvin, Demps, and Rainey are all big threats on any play. What about the lines....should we look for anyone in particular to do well?

I think you guys can expect to see a lot of charles scott and then mixed in w/ some plays for Trindon Holliday. As for our passing game, our young qbs love to throw the ball to our big, much improved, WR, Brandon Lafell.

Also, in light of the Ricky Jean-Francois comment on Tebow, I have to say that I definitely respect Tebow's choice to not be offended and to take the comment as a challenge instead of a threat on his health. I certainly think that RJF is simply looking to hit Tebow hard, if he gets the opportunity. I think the media is crappy for trying to make it out to be something it isn't.

Can't wait, looking forward to it.

I suffer from Twotimus BCS Championitus too....

This is a repost, but i have to give LSUJonno props on this one. In response to the "corndog smell" Auburn fans refer to.

We get that "corndog" smell from our balls rubbing together...

I believe the medical field calls the affliction Twotimus BCS Championitus . Apparently they’ve never seen it before in the history of college football. There is no cure, but don’t worry, it is most definitely not contagious as the problem seems to be confined to Baton Rouge, LA. There have been reports of a similar odor from USC fans however, closer examination reveals that this is not possible due to the singular nature of their one ball.

It’s a burden, but a good problem to have nevertheless.
