What got you hooked on the Daily Norseman?
I'm on the DN every day, normally, and while I haven't posted that often, this blog has replaced all other news sources for my Vikings information. I was thinking about that today, and how I stumbled across this blog a few years ago, and decided that it would be cool to hear other people's stories as well. Not only is it interesting to hear how and why people became part of this community, but could also serve as a marketing tool to recruit new members. So after the jump, my short story of how I came to be a loyal follower of the best Vikings blog in the world!

"There's going to be a stadium bill"
The talks of putting a stadium on the Arden Hills site will enter the "nitty-gritty" stage, according to this article from the Pioneer Press. Here are a couple excerpts from the article:
"We've all done our analyses, shared notes and so forth," (Ramsey County Commissioner Rafael) Ortega said. "We haven't passed anything across the table. All I can say is negotiations are getting closer and closer. We'll get into the nitty-gritty next week."
"There's going to be a stadium bill," said (Julie) Rosen, a Republican from Fairmont, who said Tuesday that she hadn't scheduled a meeting with Wilf. "Everything's falling right into place, but it's just a little premature to discuss details."
Of course as Vikings fans, we need to take everything with a grain of salt. After all, as Chris Gates Ted [Ted wuz here] previously pointed out, we are the most tortured sports city in America (silly Seattle!) But it sounds like progress is being made and hopefully we should be seeing a stadium bill come into the legislature within a few weeks.
