DJ Williams injury??

I saw on ESPNEWS that DJ Williams will be out a month with a knee injury. Umm, I don't remember him getting hurt during the game, and I haven't seen anything about it on the site so I guess I'm just hoping I read it wrong or something. Anybody have any news on this? Also, how quickly did our "stable" of running backs (Young, Pittman, Hall, Hillis, Alrige, and Torain) shrink so much. BTW, why don't we bring in Alrige now that Hall and Pitt are out for the year?

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith reports "Nuggets expected to trade Allen Iverson for Chauncey Billips and Antonio McDyess". Umm, wow. I knew we wanted to make a move, I didn't realize we wanted to make it now though. I think I like it though....What does everyone else think?

Derron Williams Out 2 Weeks...

Derron Williams suffered an ankle sprain in Saturday's preseason game against the Chicago Bulls. MRI showed no damage but he will be out 2 weeks which means he will not be on the floor against our Nuggs on opening night just over a week away!!! Williams is a great player and it sucks to have him hurt, but I won't complain that he won't play against us to start the season. Fair is fair, no Melo for us and no D-Will for Utah.

Nuggets in the Playoffs!

Good news everybody! In a simulated season on "NBA Live '09", your Denver Nuggets finished with a record of 50-32 and 4th in the Western Conference. They ended up losing in the first round (surprising) to the New Orleans Hornets. But at least all of our questions of how this season will shape up are answered and we can rest assured we will get in the playoffs! Its also worth noting that the last two teams out of the playoffs were Utah and Portland.
