on a last second pass, which could've never happened, had there not been a dropped INT the second before, OR we had better clock management

on the road, not having the best game, we showed guts, fought back in a game we had no business being in from the first half.

and the ball just didn't go our way, it happens. that's part of college football and in a lot of ways that's part of life.

and our team kept their heads up, came home after a GRUELING stretch of games, and took on a baylor team that's not the best of teams in the big 12

but they gave our QB a pretty good knocking around, they showed a lot of heart, but we won. even though the crowd wasn't in it, even though it was at the ass crack of dawn

a tech team lost the other night, got DOMINATED, on the road, showed no heart, fight, or spirit, and left the field with their heads down.

you think their fans are gonna be up and cheering for baylor? you think their team is going to walk around with this same we can do it attitude that they've had? this same team that looked god awful in many games? i don't think we'll see the team that beat OSU at home.

just some thoughts, ps, at least we're not aggie

you know the crazy guy that types like ee cummings

loves politics

but hates to talk about it on sports message boards or in the sports bar (seriously who does this, or brings up race, if i didn't love my shiner so much i'd smash a bottle)

but anywho i haven't been posting much

not at all

part of this has been the fact that i lost my job, and part of the fact that i mean geez we're doing awesome

i've been actually watching the games rather than posting while during them and i'd probably be too smashed to do it

fun times

lately however, i've seen tons of people come out of the word works, and i just wanted to join in on the jubilation

colt mccoy is leaps and bounds farther than he's ever been

i'm one that never would've guessed it, i still don't like his freshman year, i think he made BOLD moves and had play makers around him that saved him

he never dumped down to the tight ends only to selvin and jamaal, and then last year, those some bold moves didn't pay off

but this year, wooooooooooo, good job sir

i'm still big on fozzy, glad chris o shed some pounds, vondrell this last game ... man he ran like an angry man

the dbs are impressive

and musCHAMP i lub

this saturday should be a real test and i'm excited to watch how we fare

On the eve of the NBA draft, the Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers finally agreed to a trade.

Sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that the Pacers and the Raptors have agreed to a deal that, pending physicals, would send Jermaine O'Neal to Toronto in exchange for T.J. Ford, Rasho Nesterovic and the No. 17 pick in Thursday's NBA draft.

Ford's contract makes him a "base-year compensation" player, meaning the trade cannot be completed until July 9.

i'm saying ... dj started off great ... but it's been a long way since the start of the basketball season ... and while we like him lots ... has he been what he was? ... his jumper isn't falling like it was ... he hasn't been making the best of decisions ... i know point guards struggle when to get the team involved and when to be the man ... i KNOW that's a hard decision ... but still ... what's the chance that he stays ... he doesn't seem a lock for the wooden award that he once was ... not that that's the most important thing ... but his stock seems to have slipped ... no?

i mean honestly ... people are competitive ... they play to be great and if they set records that means their number one
when someone breaks it they can no longer compete and it's like dang it
of course over time variables change, game numbers, styles, sorry teams
i'm just sitting here and they keep talking about the guy from ucf about to break barry sanders record
and why should barry be nice about it

admittedly i'm angry about the game ... frustrated from watching it ... and just generally worried about the next game ... but i wanna say it's not like we didn't try to run

one of the things about being a good/great team is that you want to go to your strengths ... what's worked for us varies by team to team ... but as a good /great team you tend to want to force the other team to stop you ... not adjust to the other team ... sure it's silly ... sure it's old style football ... but that's the kinda mentality that our coaches and coordinators have ... it's a real ego-maniacal approach really ... but still that's how they think ... "oh you have a good pass defense, well our passes are better so we'll do that and not change anything" ... but the problem with that is ... it's not like that anymore ... that mentality barely works on a high school level these days ... and yet they stick with it

maybe there's a need for new blood ... maybe there's a need for new sense ... but let's look at the reality ... we "tried" to run ... it didn't work ... we tried a balanced attack ... it didn't work ... i'm starting to get the feeling that the coaches really don't spend time preparing from week to week ... because when you have a versatile team such as ours ... you can and should change ... we can play ANY style of offense ... yet we stay mundane ... and i guess that's the thing that's most frustrating to watch as a team

but i get away from my point ... yes we tried to run ... but look at how we tried to run ... i formation ... up the middle ... off tackle ...and when that didn't work ... we tried to pass to set up the run ... by then all of our plays became quite predictable ... this game ... i put nothing on the players ... well some ... the safety didn't help us, neither did our "first string" lb core ... but other than that ... our scheme completely failed us ... and i'm not sure there's much we can do about that ... because it's not as simple as we need to be a team with identity ... or identity needs to be ... we can attack every one of your weaknesses ... figuredout how to stop us ... look at the speed at backs, look at the qbs, look at the wr ... i mean come on ... like the announcer said ... make the defense think ... don't just try to execute
