I have a question about Pedros contract?? I dont think he will get called up this year, but since he has a major league contract how does that work as far as starting his time in service clock. If my question is not clear im refering to how A. McCutchen was handled this year. Will Alverez be handled the same way or is his situation different. I know having a major league contract means we have to have him on the 40 man, but there has got to be more to it than that. I know most of Boras clients want that when they sign.

trent stevenson made his professional debut today for the baby bucs down in bradenton. he started and only pitched 1 inning striking out 1 and not walking anybody or giving up a hit a nice start and hopefully he can get a few innings in before the season ends him dodson, von rosenburg, and cain will be followed very closely. not sure how many innings the last 3 will get if at all but heres hoping they can get started and maybe even start at west virgina next year

for those of you who have seen him play maybe you can awnser this. i look at robbie's numbers and i notice that he hits lefties very well 341AVG. 82abs 28hits 3hr 19ks to 15bb. vs rhp 108ks in 280abs he is listed as a switch hitter those of you that has seen him play do you think he needs to be just hitting as a righty?? the difference in numbers seem to indicate thats what might needs to happen. looking forward to hearing what others have to say.
