ESPN’s Todd McShay believes Dez Bryant is the most-talented wide receiver in the draft since Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson.

Ronnie Brown needs 2 more yards Sunday against the New Orleans Saints to climb into third place on the Miami Dolphins' all-time rushing list. That would put two of the club's three most productive runners in their backfield at the same time.

The Phinsider Why did they have to move the fins game to 4!

OH LORD!

I'm going to be at the 49'ers/Redskins game on sunday.....DURING THE FINS GAME!

i think i'm going to vomit.....

When we bought these tickets, the fins game was at 10...meaning i'd be able to see/hear the game without issue....

ugh, i'm gonna be sick :(

Any ideas on how to keep up with the fins game while inside the stadium?

Never been to a pro FB game before, so i dunno how it goes down LOL

The Phinsider Andrea Adelson Eats Her Words...and gives props to phinsider!

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orl-coladelson17121708dec17,0,1479714.column

A not-so-wise woman once wrote: "At this point, it is hard to envision the Dolphins winning one game with the players on their current roster."

Yup, there it was, an 0-16 prediction right under my name in a July 22 column along with unflattering comments about Ricky Williams and a host of others.

To say I was wrong is an understatement — even though I wrote this B.C. (Before Chad). Even after Chad Pennington signed with Miami, I thought the Dolphins would be lucky to go 3-13.

So this is a mea culpa for calling the team garbage, for complaining that it was downright awful to have Williams as the face of the franchise. It is Williams, after all, who helped Ronnie Brown unleash the Wildcat offense that has helped the Dolphins to their most surprising season in franchise history.

and looky here!

"Fins fans feel like football is back," said Ryan Yousefi, a contributor to the Dolphins fan sitewww.ThePhinsider.com. "We know what December should feel like, and it hasn't felt this way in years. Monday mornings, flags are flying on cars, people can be heard chatting Fins football in line places. Grown men are giggling like they are 12 again. Soccer moms now chat about the upcoming game over coffee.

"Weekends are fun again, and when your NFL team is good, the city really does seem like a better place to be."

C.Pen's Flea Flicker to Deadly Tedly!

Go Phins...nice to see the fins on the lists for something other than embarrasment.

Since i need 75 words, i'll go on to say, that this season is exactly why i love this team.  The drama, the intensity, the fun!  I don't think any fan could have asked for anything better this season, and we're only half way there!  Looking for ward to some televised fins games this winter...if ya catch my drift :)

The Phinsider Vic Carucci: Why the Dolphins are Legit

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80c38133&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true

Ahh..R.E.S.P.E.C.T.....

It wasn't a case of the Dolphins already putting themselves in the playoffs. They were simply acknowledging that after winning their last two games to go to 4-4, they have a shot at something that seemed impossible after last year's 1-15 finish.

It is possible this season and here's why:

» The Dolphins are only a game behind the three other teams in the AFC East -- New England, the Jets, and Buffalo -- and have beaten the Patriots and Bills.

» They have a smart, efficient quarterback in Chad Pennington running a balanced offense that allows him to utilize a new difference-making weapon each week. In Week 8, it was Ted Ginn Jr.'s 175-yard receiving effort that helped dispose of the Bills. In Week 9, it was Greg Camarillo's 11 receptions that helped sink the Broncos.

The Phinsider Deadly Tedly as a Fantasy WR? or too soon

So this weekend we have the Phins taking on the relatively defenseless Broncos.

I have Greg Camarillo as a backup WR, and Ginn is available.  Think Ginn is going to break off another big day on sunday and worth swapping Camarillo for Ginn?

The Broncos are giving up 30pts/g and nearly 240 passing yds/g with their 30th ranked Defense.

Also, on an up note, C.Pen is one of the QB's to target on this weeks Waiver Wire update :)

GO PHINS

The Phinsider Classic - Harrison Calls Williams' Block "dirty" and other thoughts

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/football/pro/dolphins/sfl-harrison0921,0,4852363.story

Mr. Dirtiest Player in the NFL  himself Rodney Harrison having the nerve to call someone out for a "dirty" block?  This guy sure has a lot of nerve.  He must really be taking this loss hard.

but i'll tell you one thing, i'll gladly listen to the Pats whine and cry over this loss all season :)

The most important thing about yesterday though, is that the monkey is now off of their back and they can go out knowing that at the absolute worst, they'll tie last season's record.  and its only week 3.  Now they can focus on winning games and performing well.

Go Dolphins Go!

The Phinsider A request for the football media and Jets/Favre fans:

I have just one simple request.

My personal feelings for the Jets aside, can you all please stop talking about how awesome you think Brett Favre is?

Sure the Jets squeaked out a win by 6 points.  The way you talk, you make it sound as though The Lord Messia Brett Favre walked onto the field, angels descended from the heavens above, the entire Miami stadium was struck with awe, and the the entire Dolphins lineup bowed down and let Brett "Jesus" Favre command the football from a golden throne.

Brett Favre is not the holy one, come to lead the Jets to the superbowl.  He's an aging has-been who'll be gone in approximately 15 games.

Thanks...

I swear, its not just the media now, its freakin EVERYONE i know saying "oh, you see brett favre today?"  "oh, how aobut that brett favre today?"  It was all the buzz in fantasy-land.
