Podium Cafe Volta: after the climb to Torre, the showdown at today's last stage TT

Major excitement and drama on the way to yesterday's 2000m Torre finish helped set up today's 30km TT showdown - and then again maybe not, as the fight for the GC will likely be on only for places 2nd and below. Unlikely heroes Nuno Ribeiro and João Cabreira, local climbers who led the stands thanks to previous win on tough mountaintop finish, went... on the attack again halfway through the queen 28.5km climb, earning the former a surprising extending on his lead - now a comfortable 1m55 over 2nd place David Bernabeu, and 2m17 and 2m35 ahead of major Volta candidates and TT specialists David Blanco and Ruben Plaza, respectively - enough to guarantee his second Volta title... or is it?
