A Dallas fan from CT (sounds weird, right?). After my precious Whalers defected to Carolina because of poor ownership and their lack of proper treatment for the Hartford faithful (trust me, if you live in CT, the Whalers are STILL huge...only real pro sports team ever in CT), I need to renew my love for hockey. I was always a big Ed Belfour fan, being a ice hockey goalie myself, as well as admire Mike Modano for his unbelievable skating, two players I idolized as a young 9-year-old hockey player. And though I'm might have started rooting for the Stars in the 97-98 season, I'm as die-hard as they come. Find me another 10 and 11 year-olds who had to battle the time differences and bed times to sneak out of bed at night and watch epic Dallas-Colorado match-ups of the late-90's, a fan so dedicated so early and so young into his Stars-following, a fan that has followed every game possible since. I truly bleed Texas hockey.
