was lucky enough to not have to worry about this in '05 but am trying to determine the best ticket option for Pasadena. Have my hotel and travel taken care of but trying to decide on the ticket before this weekend's game. Ticket City? person to person? Michael Wilbon, on "Turico & Van Pelt Show" on ESPN Radio today called the Muschamp hire lazy and "suspicious," and said that hiring him was racist because now they won't have to consider any African-American candidates for the position when it opens.

I personally love MW and think quite highly of his criticisms but in this case I think it's just sour grapes. I agree that there should be more black coaches, but as it's been discussed lately they just don't put themselves in the right places all of the time. This was simply a case of needing to wrap coach boom to a longterm placement. He was going for interviews THIS week for goodness sake. He was gone if we didn't promise him something. Will this signal a return of any old burnt orange defensemen? The departure of certain offensive stalwarts and/or the promotion of any young turks? How long will Mack stay? I have my opinions, as does everyone, but we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.
