Is it superfluous to mention that I am a huge Texas Rangers fan? Baseball is an integral part of my life, and I love sharing it with my friends and family. As Annie Savoy would say...I believe in the Church of Baseball.

Lone Star Ball No video highlights from yesterday on MLB At Bat?!

I noticed that there were no videos from yesterday's Rangers opener on the At Bat app. What gives? I would have loved to have seen those DP's by Andrus on-demand, not counting the homers and the Michael Young plays that sounded awesome on the radio. It just would have been nice to see those plays too. All the other games have had at least a few video highlights on demand, but nothing for the Rangers.

That bastard Madrigal must be running the service...

Lone Star Ball I hate you, Warner Madrigal

Dear Warner Madrigal,

Congratulations! You made it to The Show. You rose from the ranks of A-ball, and now you're pitching relief for the Texas Freakin' Rangers.

Now, go back home. Take two weeks off, and then quit.

I watched you last season, when the big dawgs in the front office were calling up everyone (including my 12 year old little brother) to pitch an inning or two down at the glorious Ballpark in Arlington. How in the hell have you been able to stick around? And don't you dare lie to me. I watched your Spring Training games; I saw your performance. You perform like a Texas Ranger pitcher. And that ain't saying much. In 8 innings (not even at once, but spread out) you allowed 13 hits for ten runs. Sure, the six strikeouts to 3 BB's looks alright, but again, let's take in the consideration that it's only 8 INNINGS.  You've ended the Spring with an 11.25 ERA. 11.25, son!!!

Every time I see you come out of the bullpen, I want to give it up. Nevermind watching this thing to the end -- Madrigal's come out, so it all must be over.

I know, this is sort of a mean letter. I don't want to hurt your feelings. But, please, go back to A-ball until your stuff is up to snuff. You're getting ate up out there, and you're bringing the rest of us down, too.

Sincerely,

A Texas Rangers fan that somehow knows that as long as Warner Madrigal is taking innings, we will never, ever win.
