I have been following the MAC for 50 years (not bad for a guy who looks 39!!).
I was born and raised in Kalamazoo and liked WMU so much that I went there twice 77-80 and 2002-04. My father worked at the University and took me to all the games growing naturally, I bleed brown and gold. I believe the MAC is the best bargain in the country...a pretty good product for what we pay for it.
