Petition to ask Tim MacMahon to stop calling Roy "coachable"
Hi guys,
Like most of you I read BTB religiously, and supplement that with the Dallas News Cowboys blog, which also has great reporting on our beloved Cowboys. I'm making this poll because I am incredibly tired of one of DMN's bloggers, who otherwise does decent work, from making constant references to Roy E Williams as a "coachable wide receiver". For reference, here is a sampling of his work: Link
I'm under no illusion as to whether this will work, but really, I've just been driven completely batcrap nuts by MacMahon's incessant inanities. I'm hoping if there's proof that his readers would rather him stop, he'll listen to us.
Assorted "tweets" from MartyB
Martellus Bennett has a Twitter account, and posts a LOT. Now that workouts have started there are some that are actually sort of interesting. (sort of is a bit of a stretch)
I copied some of the more interesting ones...

MartyBTV: Tashard Choice and Marion think they are the spades champs. They do have the belt since T.O left. Kitna is a cool dude so is Brookings.
Scandrick is praly the fastest although T New is super fast or watkins. No one can out jump me
Why the Bolts let Igor Walk
Good article on Olshansky's fall out with the Charger's coaching staff. His game seems a lot like Canty's, but his character seems, well, a lot better.
Roy Williams covering rookie Mike Jefferson
Roy on Michael Irvin's ESPN Radio Show
This is really painful to read as a Cowboys fan and a RW fan...
"Sometimes you just hope they don't throw the ball your way, because sometimes you're like, if they go inside, you don't have any help; if they go outside, you don't have any help."
Blog post about the interview on DMN
Other things that made me grimace:
- Roy isn't comfortable covering someone one-on-one
- Something about dedicating himself to God, and that being correlated with a lack of big hits
Maybe Pacman can help rehabilitate RW back to a normal football playing dude.
