Daily Norseman Josh McDaniels to Rams

On a pretty busy day so far personnel-wise for the vikes, with Singletary signing on to be the LB coach. The controversial former head coach of the broncos is officially headed to St. Louis taking our chances to get Timmy Tebow with him.

While many people have been against McDaniels joining us next year, I really started to get used to the thought of possibly getting Tebow (even though it probably would not of happened any ways.) I feel he is a great offensive coach and while he may not have been ready to be a head coach i think he will succeed with the Rams and Sam Bradford.

Reports say that we have interviewed Musgrave, the Falcons QB coach and have competition with the Browns for him. While we didn't get McDaniels I am happy how Leslie Frazier has addressed the coaching changes so far and hope to see some more big names mentioned to our vikes through the free agency as well.

Daily Norseman An Interesting Stat...

In 2006, the vikings first year with Childress they finished 6-10. Then 2007, our beloved purple went 8-8. Finally last year they went 10-6. This year they happen to be 11-4 with one game to go. Every year with Childress we have won two more games than the year before. WE are destined to win this sunday and with the way Dallas has looked the last two weeks, I believe that we will be gettin our first one week vacation in January in a long time.

Daily Norseman MADDEN 2010

As most of us know Madden comes out today or later tonight for some. Since there is a new feature called online franchise, i was wondering if anyone is interested in joining the league that i will be making in the near future. I have an XBOX 360 so if anyone wants to join or wants any more info about this, just respond or send me a message to my gamertag Alldayson28.

Daily Norseman Fan Posts

Why are there so many new posts from non viking fans. Over the past couple weeks i have read numerous posts from people, who although may be expressing their opinions, are stupid and they have no idea what they are talking about. Personally i do not care what other fans think about our situation because if i did i would be on profootballtalk.com all day instead of this site. This is where i find my facts. How would you like it if i write a bunch of pointless ish all over your favorite teams site. Shut up and leave us alone.

Daily Norseman Brett Favre Update

I know this probably won't happen but it still is intriging as long as Brett Favre is still alive and kicking and the prospect of him playing again is still up in the air. Now that the Jets have their qb of the future in Sanchez, profootballtalk.com suggests that Favre and his agent, Bus Cook, might be looking for a release from the Jets, to possibly to join our purple and gold. All speculation at the time but now that the draft is over and their is really not much to talk about, i thought i would bring this up. Tell me what u think.

UPDATE: Brett Favre has been officially released by the Jets. Plans to possibly come back. All speculation right now but me for one is not for it. Who knows, i would sure enjoy seeing Brett Favre get a little revenge on those cheeseheads. Here is the new post.
