Rivals just came out with updated football rankings for the 2013 class. Our good friends at Our Lady of Good Counsel have put forth yet another great class of to be college stars. This coming class includes Kendall Fuller the #4 overall rated prospect who plays DB and Dorian O'Daniel #37 overall ranked who is a LB. Now I understand that this is still far off but I definitely hope that Locks is doing what he can to get these kids to UMD because these kids would truly start a trend of top level prospects making their way to College park in the future. They also would headline a revamped defense that I think we all hope can be shut down in a few years. Then in 2014 it would be amazing if we could also bring in JALEN TABOR. Now I'm probably being extremely hopefully and I wouldn't be surprised to see Fuller and O'Daniel elsewhere but if we can really start a pipeline from schools like Gilman and Good Counsel I see no reason why in 2014 or 2015 we cant be up in the top 10 in the nation. Does anyone think we have any shot?

I'm starting to be nervous that we will not get any more basketball recruits for next season. I would love to get Torian Graham and Robert Carter obviously since the team would immediately be vaulted into at least the top 25 but it wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing in the world if we were not able to get any other recruits. Not only would it help keep our classes in much more even amounts but it would also give us a chance at recruits such as Kennedy Meeks, the twins, and the players from Baltimore for 2013 which seems to be a pretty damn good group in the making. If we stick with our smaller class this year it could pay dividends for the following year. Does anyone think that we will legitimately get anyone else for the 2012 class? If so who are the ones you want? If we stick with just Shaq, Layman, and Allen who will we we want next year past the twins?
