About his personal challenge for next season:

The challenge this year is to get minutes on the court, that´s the main thing. And also the most important thing is to have a more important role than the one I had last year. It is true that it´s always difficult when having the team franchise player in my same position, but also it is true that last year we played quite a few time together and it worked out quite well.

About the "difficult" second year in the NBA:

It´s true that contenders already know more about you, they know how you usually play, and clearly yes, that´s difficult. But I think the most important thing is that I can be on the court, getting playing time, and that would mean things are going well.

About the impact in USA of his performance in the Eurobasket:

I sincerely think it won´t have got the repercussion that had the Olympics final, because ..., you know the United States, you know how they are, and for them it´s not so important as the World Championship or the Olympics.

About his life without Sergio:

Acerca de sus retos para este año:

El reto este año es jugar minutos, eso es lo principal. Y también lo más importante es tener un rol que sea más importante que el del año pasado. Es cierto que siempre e difícil teniendo al jugador franquicia del equipo en tu misma posición, pero también es cierto que el año pasado jugamos bastante tiempo juntos y fue bastante bien.

Acerca de la dificultad del segundo año:

Sí que es cierto que los equipos ya te conocen más, saben el juego que sueles hacer, y claro sí que es difícil. Yo creo que los más importante es que pueda jugar minutos, que pueda estar en la pista, y eso querrá decir que las cosas van bien.

Acerca la repercusión de su actuación en el Eurobasket en USA:

Yo creo que sinceramente que no habrá tenido la repercusión que tuvo la final de la olimpiada, porque es diferente, tú conoces los Estados Unidos, sabes cómo son, y para ellos no es tan importante como un Mundial o una Olimpiada.

Acerca de la vida sin Sergio:

es un trastorno en el sentido de que, creo que en Marca hicisteis un porcentaje de los pases que recibía de él cuando estaba en pista y era más del 50%, imagínate. En pretemporada jugamos dos partidos contra ellos y, bien, bien. La verdad es que se me hará raro jugar contra él.
