phil simms is an ass. hes a typical giants fan. the whole game he was eagle bashing. the maclin catch he kept on trying to shoot it down even tho it clearly was a catch. hes an ass.

it shows a prediction of the final 2 games and what si.com thinks will be the playoff situation in the nfc. it just shows how big of a game that week 17 game against dallas could be. it could determine a 2nd seed or a 6th seed. just thought it was interesting

i just read somewhere that the vikings are dominating in the fans portion of pro bowl voting. Lets try to change that. Go vote for your favorite eagles and lets get Desean, Brent, Dream, Trent, Asante, Sheldon and others to an eagles dominated pro bowl.

i saw on a couple other sbnation sites a fan approval rating. i think that would be a cool idea, just to gauge everyones opinion on how well our team/organization is doing/has done. maybe a poll a day or two after our last game. just a thought. everyone let me know what ya think.
Week 2 Report Card

I remember when i was home in the grand ol Lehigh Valley, the Morning Call use to do a weekly eagles report card. Now im out in italy and i unfortunatley dont get the chance to read these reports anymore. So i figured id try to give my best perspective of sundays game, report card style. This is my first major post so i apologize if i missed some key points, considering i had to watch it on the computer, but please feel free to add your own input.

The new power rankings from don banks over at si.com are out. He has us ranked at 7. Deserving spot for us i think considering our recent quarterback health issues.
The thing that surprised the crap outta me was our week 2 oppenent cracking the top 5. Their win over the lions was impressive but hey, its still the lions. Drew Brees is a beast and i personally think hes the top quarterback in the league. Look what he can get done with guys like Robert Meachum and Devery Henderson. But the saints defense gave up 27 points to the lions woeful offense. He also ranked the cowboys at 15 even tho they put up good offensive numbers against a woefull team/defense in the bucs. Now im not defending the cowboys, but seems a little prejudice, eh?

NFL best/worst teams over the last decade
might be a repost but i just stumbled across this today when i was searching for valid statistics to use against a very committed and asshole strong headed dallas cowboys fan at work. thought it was interesting.
