Sunday League Adult Baseball
Hey HH community, I've been out of baseball since I had reconstructive surgery on my shoulder in 2007. I am now 100% recovered and am in dire need to play ball again. I was just wondering if anybody else on here is joined in a Sunday league or would like to start a Sunday league. I live in San Pedro but would not mind traveling to play. I played college ball and am a SS by trade, but can play any infield position. If anybody has any interest in letting me a join a team or if anyone has any interest in starting a team let me know. I have no idea how to start a Sunday team so help would be needed. You can let me know in this post or email me at RZuchero712@gmail.com
Hope to hear from you guys!! Let's BELIEVE!!

Reckling pulled after 1 inning due to injury
After one inning of work against Cuba, Reckling was pulled due to an injury. The injury is not specified but this is terrible news. Hopefully nothing big. Let's go Team USA who beat Cuba.

Restoring the Rosters
Matthew Pouliot over at NBC sports has been doing a series about rosters of home grown talent. He ranks the Angels 10th. This is it along with all the other ones above them.

S-Rod Recalled
Hopefully the Soth has realized he needs to add some punch and excitement to the lineup, S-Rod has been recalled from SLC for tonights game. S-Rod has 21 HRs, yes in AAA, but still adds excitement. My guess is he won't play tonight because of the love affair of having singles hitters throughout our infield, but hopefully Soth wakes up and pencils him in for tomorrow's game. This has been a long time coming to shake things up and hopefully it is not the last move.">Hopefully the Soth has realized he needs to add some punch and excitement to the lineup, S-Rod has been recalled from SLC for tonights game. Our Newest Angel...
Bobby Abreu!! According to SI.com Jon Heyman the deal is for 1 year worth about 5 Million, including incentives. To me that is a huge bargain. He wanted $16 million per year for 2-3 years and we get him for one year and $5 million. Big help to the club and a good clubhouse guy.
Also, this screws Borass and Man-Ram some more haha. Love it!! I know we have all expressed feelings on this matter yesterday, but now it is a done deal (so far) so now that we have him I am glad. I think some people will change their views and if you don't well we are stuck with him for a year anyways.
I'll be cheering him on now that he is in Angel Red.

Mt. Rushmore
I do not know if any of you fellow HHers have voted on ESPNs Mt. Rushmore of sports, but I happened to just make my way over there. To my surprise I found one of the greatest Angels of all time. Our very own Darin Erstad. He got picked for one of top four athletes to come out of North Dakota! So if you guys would love to see Darin Erstad on Sportscenter and his face on a mountain Go Vote!!
Also, if you had the vote what would be your Angels Mt. Rushmore and overall sports Mt. Rushmore?
Mine would be Gene Autry, Tim Salmon, Mike Scioscia, and Nolan Ryan.
Then: Tiger Woods, John Wooden, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson

Garland and D'Backs come to terms
Thank you to Jon Garland for his one year for us, but he has now reached an agreement with the D'Backs for 1 year between 6-8 Million. So we now receive another supplamental pick from them. So now that gives us 4 picks in the first two rounds?
Since our #5 from last year is now gone for good lets hope somebody can step up whether it is Moseley or Adenhart or Ortega. We need at least 5 innings and under 4 runs from whoever fills the spot.

Napoli a top 5 catcher
Over at rotoauthority they have Napoli projected to be atop 5 catcher for fantasy leagues. I think that is cool for Naps and also for the Angels. After all this discussion Napoli gets thrown under the bus. I agree with the projection if Sosh gets off Mathis's nuts and gives Naps the at-bats he deserves. I personally think he can hit 30 bombas if given the opportunity. He might have a BA anywhere from .250 to .270 but no higher. I think Naps can step in an be a huge bat for us especially after this whole Texeira ordeal. What do you guys think? Top 5? Top 10?

Another shot at the Angels
It is bad enough when all of us do not think the Angels will re-sign Texeira. It is also sucks when nobody else thinks you will re-sign him. The worse part is when people say a sad soppy orginization with no talent and winning in sight is mentioned as the team the yanks will be competing with to sign Texeira. Does everybody else hate us that much, to just completely brush us under the rug and not even care what happens to us? Or are they all just pissed we have arguably the best run orginization in sports and are a team to be reckoned with formany years to come. It is sickening that we get no respect for anybody.

Pitcher signed
If any one is interested I came across this on mlbtraderumors. It is not much, but hopefully it is our first of many signings this off season.
