How Many Interceptions will Nnamdi and DeAngelo have in '08?

Now that the Raiders have DeAngelo Hall and putting Asomugha there next to him, I have been wondering, how many interceptions will both of them have in 2008? Last sason Hall had 5 interceptions which is probably his average a year and Nnamdi Asomugha only had one interception because the quarterbacks would not throw to the reciever he was covering after his breakout year in 2006. So I want you to answer this poll:

In yahoo.com they made even worse rumors about Star CB Nnamdi Asomugha. It said that if the Raiders do not pay Nnamdi, then he might go to the GIANTS!! What the F all of these rumors about Asomugha are just getting even more stupider every freakin day. I don't even want to believe this garbage because Nnamdi is valuable here in Oakland

Raiders could get QB

QB Trent Dilfer, who was waived by San Francisco, is considering joing the raiders. Maybe this could be a good back-up for Jamarcus Russel other than Andrew Walter( Hostage). Hopefully he can do good as a second Quarter Back. Now we can all stop talking about what back-up QB we always talk about.

After trade, Hall will get extension

I read in ESPN.com that once the raiders get DeAngelo Hall, Al Davis will give him the contract extension he wants. They would give him a seven year deal, worth $70 million dollars. Now that is some smart thinking by Al, but I think he is overpaying him. I think around $50 million or $60 million would be enough.

There have been rumors about Nnamdi Asomugha

There have been some really bad rumors about the Raiders trading Asomugha. When the Raiders got Hall, they have been talking about getting rid of Asomugha for a 1st or 2nd round pick. Hey I'm cool about trading Fabian or Stuart, because they have not reached their potential, but trading Nnamdi is just plain out of control.

Getting Hall might not be a good thing

Sure the Raiders got Hall from Atlanta, but the bad thing is for two reasons:

They have to give him a big contract extension (as in Asante Samuel money)

And with the extension, Nnamdi Asomugha might not stay in a Raiders uniform

When the Raiders put the exclusive franchise tag on Asomugha, they had to give him $10 million in pay. And once signing Hall to the extension, the salary cap will rise way up and the Raiders are forced to give away alot of money just to keep DeAngelo.

Drew Carter visiting Oakland

Panthers free agent WR Drew Carter is visiting the raiders today. he could be a good wideout for Oakland. His stats are good:
Receptions: 38
Yards:517
AYG:13.6
TD's:4
The raiders do need a wideout and this can be an excellent pick up. They can also draft a wideout in the second or third round ( as I always say) and they could be the wideouts for Jamarcus Russell which can help the raiders win games

If Im the raiders, Draft Chris Long or Darren McFadden

The Oakland Raiders are in need of some Defensive Backs. There aren't that many good ones since they all got signed by different teams and some traded to teams. The Raiders should draft a DB. People keep on saying Sedrick Ellis. People keep on saying Glenn Dorsey.(I do like Dorsey's defensive skills.) But I think Oakland should draft Chris Long from Virginia. Even though he is Howie's son, he is a great defensive end. He is quick and can get straight to the QB. If the Raider's are lucky than they should select him. If not, draft Darren McFadden from Arkansas. I know Fargas is Oakland's #1 back but McFadden is an explosive back who can run the ball very well and can avoid defenders.

GET BRYANT JOHNSON OR JAVAN WALKER!!

Both of these receivers are really good and talented players and i think the raiders should make a run at both of them. Jamarcus Russel needs some more weapons in his arsenal and those two can help Ronald Curry. Bryant Johnson was good in Arizona, but Anqaun Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald are the star wideouts, and Denver released Walker because of health. If the raiders get those two or at least one of them, then they can be a succesful team and make the postseason. The raiders should also draft a WR in the second or third round of the draft.
