Maybe someone with knowledge of free agency and tenders and such could tell me, but as far I know, OJ Atogwe of the Rams is basically there for the taking.  The tender he got from the Rams was "right of lowest refusal", whatever that means.  He is probably one of the best players on the Rams, so I don't know if they'd just let him get away, but from what I have read in places, he'd be easy for any team to sign away.

The only thing that confuses me is, he's a great player and is there for cheap, but no one has made an offer to him yet.  There obviously has to be some reason why no one has offered him yet.

That being said, I'd love to see the Packers bring him in.  Thoughts?

Ok, I don't entirely hate it, there are some good qualities, and there are some bad qualities as well.  The thing that irks me the most about it is when it come to the dissemination of breaking or developing news.  I'm speaking specifically here about Julius Peppers last night.

Chances are, I was only perturbed because it was Bears fans doing it, but every tweet coming out about Peppers was making me mad.  Google has a twitter intergration, where if you Google something and it has been tweeted about recently, the results will show up.  So I Google Peppes to see if anything happened with him yet and I saw in the span of three tweets, three seperate teams "official" accounts claiming they had signed Peppers.  I say "official" because these were basically just average joes.

It then turned into a game of telephone.  Adam Schefter reported that Peppers was meeting the Bears on Friday.  Many people interpretted that as he had been signed already, and it snowballed from there.

Maybe it makes me sound like a grumpy old man, but I was just getting frustrated with the quality of "news" last night.

Den WR Brandon Marshall to GB?

According to LeRoy Butler, former Green Bay Packer on local radio, he heard from Donald Driver – Brandon Marshall to GB for Donald Driver & Donald Lee . Supposedly, the reason it isn't done is the Packers won't give an extension to Marshall. Let’s flag this as speculation and watch.

Thoughts?  I don't see it happening, but i think it would be a good deal.  Marshall has attitude issues, but getting a new contract and getting out of the mess in Denver could help him.  I find it's hard to believe it'd be Marshall for Lee and Driver straight up though.  I would have thought there'd be draft picks involved.
