I'm thinking of ditching cable, but I don't want to miss Mariners games.  Are they still broadcast over the air, or do you have to have FSN?  If they are broadcast over the air, is it in HD?

If they aren't broadcast in HD, I guess I'll have to continue to let comcast rape me every month, but I'd rather stop giving them money if I could.

I like having baseball jerseys that I'm unlikely to see another of when I go to the park.  My last one was a #59 Felix Alternate Home Jersey.  Since the WBC is going on, I thought now might be a good time to get a new one.

I'm considering 4 jersey's right now.  The first three are WBC Jerseys.  Venezuela - Felix, Netherlands - Halman, Canada - Aumont.  I'm also thinking about a road Orix Buffaloes Jersey (It looks nearly identical to the Blue Wave Jerseys) with Ichiro/51.  My wife's only going to let me have one.  Which do you choose?

I found this article on Uniwatch on ESPN.com very intersting.  I was in college in Oklahoma at the time, so I didn't even realize that this had occured.  I do remember the abortion that was the MLB campaign though.

Ok, I've now lived in seattle for almost 5 years.  And slowly but surely the Mariners have become my team (I grew up a Mets fan in Oklahoma, go figure).

I've slowly accumulated M's gear (a couple of shirts, a hat, some USSM stuff), but have decided to take the plunge and get a Jersey.  Of course now comes the difficult decision, who's name goes on the back?

I'd like to get one of the younger players, and someone who figures to be here for a while.  What do you think?
