What we wish our roster could look like...
There's been so much debate lately over certain guys that should or shouldn't be in the minors, and certain guys that we would like to see gone. So, if you had your way, using only players in the organization right now, what would you like to see the 25-man roster/depth chart look like by the beginning of June? Guys can be traded, cut, promoted, whatever you like as long as the 25 players are all guys that are actually within our organization.
In case you need it for reference, here are a few links...to the AA, AAA and major league rosters.

I'll start it off with my own depth chart...
STARTER BACKUP
C – John Buck Jose Molina
1B – Brett Wallace Randy Ruiz
2B – Aaron Hill Jarrett Hoffpauir
SS – Alex Gonzalez John McDonald
3B – Edwin Encarnacion Jarrett Hoffpauir
LF – Travis Snider Adam Lind
CF – Vernon Wells Jose Bautista
RF – Adam Lind Jose Bautista
DH – Randy Ruiz Adam Lind
SP – Shaun Marcum, Ricky Romero, Brandon Morrow, Brett Cecil, Dustin McGowan
RP – Kevin Gregg, Scott Downs, Jason Frasor, Shawn Camp, Jesse Carlson, Casey Janssen, Brian Tallet
Mine are a little conservative. My major changes are atleast experimenting with Lind in the outfield, moving Bautista to a backup role. Calling up Jarrett Hoffpauir as our utility player. He’s still only 26 and put up reasonable minor league numbers last year and is hitting the ball well so far this year in AAA. Getting rid of Overbay however management wants to do it and call up Wallace to start. I’m banking on McGowan being ready by then so he’d be in the rotation over Eveland who I doubt will last until then (if he does, great but i’m not counting on it...). Tallet moves back to the bullpen giving us back our long reliever and we call up Cecil. Rzepczynski may be the odd man out when he returns. Carlson should be back up and Accardo and Valdez really don’t warrant a place in the bullpen considering the options we have. Purcey could also prove to be a valuable bullpen piece. He’s looked good so far in that role in a small sample size in AAA.
What changes would you like to see?
