I am in a standard H2H 5x5 league and have been offered Anibal Sanchez for Jon Lester straight up. I am pretty tempted to do this deal. Lester has been pretty frustrating to own thus far and Sanchez is pitching well. It's only June but I have watched a lot of games involving Lester and he has looked pretty crappy.

Not a fan of the really dumb, annoying, but most likely necessary, word count that SBnation has.

I was cruising around NHL.com and came across their updated mock drafts for 2012. These drafts were completed by two scouts, one from each conference. The Flyers are slotted into the 26th pick based on current overall standings, I wouldn't mind if they ended up with the 30th pick.

I have been offered Ian Kennedy for Jon Lester in my standard 5 X 5 H2H league. I like the fact that Lester plays on a better team and has something to prove this year after the whole beer and chicken fiasco. Kennedy seems pretty legit though and he doesn't have to deal with the juggernaut AL East for most of the year. Would you make this trade?

I want to start off by stating that I really hate trading before the season starts, simply not a fan. However, I was offered a trade that seems pretty legit in my eyes. I just want to see what everyone here thinks about it.

I am in a 5X5 league with an added IF spot and 4 OF spots. I have been offered Miguel Cabrera and Mike (Giancarlo) Stanton for Albert Pujols and Desmond Jennings. I am not to concerned about steals as I have victorino, aybar, and a slew of 10-15 guys.

What does everyone think? Jennings might go 20/40 this year but stanton has crazy power and a real solid lineup. I consider Pujols and Cabrera top be equal, or maybe a slight edge to Cabrera.

I live in Boston now (unfortunate I know) and was wondering if any fans are making the trip up. My buddy (a Bruins fan) and I have season tickets in the Balcony 301 if any fans wanna swing by. There is actually a few Flyers fans who have tickets in my section as well so the more the merrier. I'll be rocking my Simmonds jersey to the game but will be promptly taking that off when we go hit the town. I'm sure many of you have heard....DO NOT wear orange if you plan on hitting the bars afterwards as it has bad news written all over it. If any body wants to meet up for a few drinks let me know and we can organize something. A group of Flyers fans on this day makes a lot of sense.

I'm in a Yahoo Pro league and was able to swing a deal that i think is pretty damn good. I am stacked at goalie with Pekka Rinne, Kari Lehtonen, Mike Smith, Tuukka Rask, and Josh Harding. I picked up Mike Smith while he was on IR (really shocked nobody else thought to do that). Anyway i was able to trade Mike Smith and Mike Richards for Patrick Sharp. Love Patrick Sharp's C,LW,RW eligibility and the fact that i traded away a guy i just picked up off of the wire. What does everyone think of this trade? Hopefully Sharp keeps going at his ppg pace.

Big playoff match up for me this week, need a little RB help . Scoring is six points for rushing/receiving td's, .75 ppr. We have two RB slots and a W/R slot. I have Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush, Beanie Wells, Ahmad Bradshaw, Darren Sproles, and Felix Jones. As you can see i have a shit ton of RBs.

Who should i start? I am leaning towards: Peterson, Wells, Jones. I hate to sit Sproles but i think i have to do it. If Peterson has a set back i'll probably go with Bush. What does everyone think? I am pretty confused at this point.

1-2 to start the season in a ppr league. Michael Vick kind of screwed me over the past couple of weeks....anyway. I need a little help picking my wide receivers this week. I have both Hakeem Nicks and Greg Jennings so i am all set there but my third slot has some decisions. I have Percy Harvin, Steve Smith (Car), and Davone Bess. Which guy do i plug in? Also, we get .25 points for every 25 return yards.

I am in a fairly standard yahoo league with a WR/RB flex position. PPR though. I just trade Eli Manning and Ryan Matthews for Tony Romo. I am stacked at RB, Matthews would have been my 5th guy probably. How does everyone feel about this trade? I hate Eli Manning so i was happy to get rid of him.

Cruising through nhl.com i noticed that the one and only Vaclav Prospal was still looking for a home. I think he might be a perfect fit for the Flyers as he still managed to put about about .75 ppg for the rangers last year even though he was coming off of an injury. He has played LW and C so he has some versatility. I just feel like we need one more guy who has some offensive game to help offset the carter/Richards trades. I would have loved to see Gagne back but that didn't work out. Other guys available are Jamie Langenbrunner, Antti Miettinen, Cory Stillman, and Jason Arnott. There are some guys out there but most are old. What do you guys think? Do the Flyers need another body? Or is everyone cool with the lineup we have now (including Simmonds)?

Standard roto league settings with fairly large rosters. 5 OF, 2C, 1B, 2B, 3B, CI, MI, UTIL, SS, 9 P 

I got a trade offer of AROD and CJ Wilson for Jayson Werth and David Wright. Me giving up AROD and Wilson. I think this is a pretty solid deal as my outfield is kind of slim. As of right now i have Matt Kemp, Angel Pagan, Coco Crisp, Nick Markakis and Will Venable for OF's. This trade would help sure up my OF positions and give me slightly more homers and a few more steals.

Thoughts on the deal?

So that lucky bastard Mike Fisher has been traded to the Predators.  Is he worthy of a roster spot in deeper leagues? I mean he can't do much worse than he did in Ottawa. If i were to pick him up i would most likely drop Lee Stempniak. If fisher is riding shotgun alongside say Martin Erat and Sergei Kostitsyn i like the move to pick him up. What do you guys think?

I have a free roster slot and i am looking to pick somebody up. Its a large league (14 teams) with a lot of roster spots so the waiver wire is pretty slim. You really gotta dig deep. I have my eyes one 3 players, Rolston, PM Bouchard, and Andy McDonald. Who would you guys add? I know AM is still recovering from a concussion but it looks like he will be back soon. I like the fact that he is both C and LW eligible as my centers are Mike Richards, Jeff Skinner, and Val Filpulla. All three guys need to bounce back from injury or being on waivers for most of the year so there is def some risk here. Which player should i gamble on?

I picked up brad marchand yesterday...solid move. he has been on fire lately and with marc savard out for a few games or more i think its a solid move. what do you guys think? Also, why does danny briere not have center eligibility in yahoo leagues. guy has been playing center all year on one of the best lines going right now. yahoo needs to step it up.

Got some decisions to make in my PPR league...semi finals of the playoffs, h2h league with .75 ppr. WR are calvin johnson, desean jackson, and mike wallace. We have an WR/RB slot which is occupied by Deion Branch. i have ryan torain chilling on my bench, i am thinking of taking out wallace and moving torain to the flex spot with branch taking the WR spot. does this make sense to anyone out there?

In a head to head Yahoo! league with a bunch of my buddies. Sitting in 6th place out of 12 teams but i have fallen from 1st to 6th over the past two weeks. Team is riddle with injuries, Broduer, Rinne, Parise, Vinny L. The league has a ton of positions start 17 guys including two goalies. Basically, i am relying on guys like jeff skinner, mike richards, andres nodl, briere, and claude giroux. Putting up some points but def not enough. The problem is there is not much on the wire and nobody will trade with me because i have won the league the last two years..any suggestions?

So our prized possession did pretty well for himself last night. I thought bob played a great game overall. However, he did lose the puck quite a few times. I guess that is to be expected when you are used to the larger european rinks. Anyway, how many of you think Bob will be the flyers starting goalie moving forward? I know it is only one start but i think he made it pretty clear that he is here to stay.

I really want a team name with Giroux involved but i can't think of any.

Long story short,

Born and raised in philly, was lucky enough to play NCAA hockey in boston, now live in boston full-time. I have been reluctant to purchase NHL Center Ice for the past couple of years now, but i have changed my mind. Before i call comcast does anyone know how much it costs this year? I am really tired of having to watch bruins games to get my hockey fix, and having to listen to Jack Edwards do commentary. So yea, how much does center ice cost and do you guys think it is worth it?

So lets recap this. Over the past few months fans of philadelphia sports have watched the Phillies lose the world series, the eagles trade McNabb to the Redskins, Cliff Lee get traded for peanuts, the flyers lose the stanely cup on a shot that a peewee goalie should have saved, and now the longest tenured flyer in Simon Gagne gets traded. This crap has got to stop at some point. I thought we got rid of the Curse of Billy Penn when we won the series in 08. Gagne was everything you wanted in a hockey player. He played a great two-way game and was a stand up guy on and off the ice. It really sucks to see him have to go. Damn, its been a crazy nine months in south philly. Hopefully somebody can put an end to it. Feel free to discuss the plight of the philly phaithful.

So it appears as if Tomas Vokoun might be available. Should the flyers make a play for him? i don't know what his contract situation is like but i do know that he has a no-trade clause. If they do make a play who would the flyers give up to get this severely underrated goalie? Would you trade say coburn for vokoun if the panthers were inclined to do so? To me that deal would seem like a pretty easy decision for the flyers front office.
