I grew up in Brooklyn and am a proud Yankee fan. Then I moved to SF after college and fell in love with the city and also with the Giants, which was good since I didn't have an NL team. Some would say it's a 'contradiction in teams', each possibly being the antithesis to the other. Too bad. I love em both.
Now I live in Massachusetts and love to hate the Red Sox, and am also trying to dislike the Dodgers, even though they started in Brooklyn, and Torre's at the helm, and Mattingly's the man. I know I hated them when I was in SF way before Joe and Donny went there. But with Mannywood, it's not too hard to remember those feelings. I can dislike a team even though I might like some parts of it, right? Right. I mean, after all, who doesn't like Mike Lowell? He's the exception that proves the rule of obnoxiousness in Boston.
That's my story. So how are you?
