I currently live on Hayden Island in a marina and the only shot I have is for a satellite provider to get a deal done. Anyone else know of a bar or anything close by I can see games? (I don't drive) And preferably a place where other fans are. I work at Hooters but they have a DirectTV thing going on and aren't about to pony up $ for comcast.

This site has come along way.

I was bored when little news was coming in so I went back to read some archive posts of Lance on this site and Dave over when he was doing Blazer Thoughts and it's amazing to see how both sort of merged and evolved into this great community. It's also neat to see that both sites started right before the team began to turn around so it was very interesting to follow the evolution from the end of 05-06 and see how the whole perception of this franchise changed before our very eyes. Super stoked that Dave and Ben are doing such a great job continuing this legacy of by far the greatest blazer site out there. The ride is about to begin so I'm just gonna fasten my seatbelt.

this fanshot setup is baaad!

I was bored and I need to get comfortable talking for long periods of time on a mic because I want to get into broadcasting. Here is just a rundown preview and some of my opinions on this season's team as we get set for camp. It's pretty rough around the edges production wise but feel free to post comments or questions and i'll include some in the next episode.

Another Solid Roy Interview

Here's an interview that Roy did with ESPN Radio over the All Star Weekend that is just another great interview.  (Need Windows Media Player)

trav's the real deal

i saw this on espn.com today and don't think it's been mentioned on here but two guys over there talk about a few players and whether they are the real deal or not and one of them happened to be out own travis outlaw.  i'll let you check it out yourself (don't think you need insider) but they have some good things to say.

oden's rookie status

i have a question, when oden comes back next year will he be considered a rookie and be eligible for things like rookie of the year or does this season still count as him being a rookie while he is injured?

Raef and Joel

We know that the whole team except Przybilla, LaFrentz and Rodriguez have hit the floor early and I couldn't be happier.  And we know Sergio is playing internationally right now but any word on why Joel and Raef aren't there yet?  Or when they might arrive?  I know it's a totally voluntary thing but I know I'd feel like an underacheiver if nearly ALL of my teammates were already hitting it hard.  Especially for me, I feel Raef needs to show something because he's the highest paid (or close to it) player on the roster and was complaining about playing time last year.  Any thoughts?
