Well if not for the lumbering big guy, last nights game might have gone in another direction. I'd like to see a more consistent output from him with the potential faucet on full blast at this point. Need the Hammer to get going as well. Is it time to give Cody a shot at the #2 hole. Hermida is having a fair season at best and appears to be fading.... he's just not a # 2 hitter

Is it my imagination, or does Uggla look uncomfortable at the plate. He seems to be moving his feet quite a bit in the box as he's getting set. Maybe the ankle is not quite yet 100%....... Jacobs on the trading block? Overall he's been disappointing lately, but the upside is still there. What kind of lefthanded relief help could they possibly get for him. Good relievers are short in supply, quite the opposite of lumbering first baseman hitting near their weight.

Can't help but be excited about the prospect of having by far and away the best starting pitching in the division, albeit a little early. Now that JJ has shown he's good to go,here's hoping Volstad can continue his mastery tonight. With the return of Sanchez imminent I'm sporting wood. With defense the only remaining glaring weakness any type of improvement in this area leaves us with in an unbelievable position to do something special
