So I'm sure as many of you also did i signed up for those free tickets and well you may not believe this but i WON yes i actually WON the Suite they were giving away to tuesday nights game. I received the call earlier today and have just gotten home from picking up the tickets. I have decided to take much of my family and friends with me as something like this has never happened to us before. But i did want to let all of you know the suite will be put to good use by a loyal AVS fan and MHH member i don't post often but I am always on the site. P.S i am excited. P.S.S GO AVS.

The real question is should we sign him. I know he has not had a great couple of seasons but he is still a great goal scorer and if put in the right environment i beleive he could be a valid threat on one of our top 2 lines. Also he will most likely he will come fairly cheap this season. And lets face it since chances are slim that Kovie will sign with us why not take a player once highly valued to the Avalanche club even for just one season.

Could just be coincidence but in my mind the 95 points the Avs acheived this season is a luck one.
My reasoning, well as everyone knows the Avs moved to Colorado in 1995.
And what did they do in there first season........

Yes you heard me correctly my 2 puck pack tickets section 120 row 6 were stolen from the mail today or at some point my girlfriend received the envelope with tickethorse written all over it taped back together in the mail. Now i beleive the idiots at the post office are either completely retarded or stole my tickets. So i just want to say fuck you post office for being theiving retards and fuck you tickethorse for writing you name all over the envelope.....never had this problem with ticketmaster. So i will be contacting both the post office to complain and tickethorse to make them cancel the other tickets and have a brand new set with the same seats waiting for me at willcall. Has this ever happened to you before if so what happened, how was it fixed, can it be fixed, or tell me how shitty this is.

Personaly i would have chosen Stas but i understand why Footer was taken he has much more experience and has been with the team for a very long time.

I would also like to know what everyone thinks of Footes recent promotion good or bad and why.

There is not to much different to be said from the last 2 days, Duchene looks great his wrist shot has excelent speed power and release (a lot like Sakic), Stoa could make the team this year he is both powerful and fast. There were also several interesting things that happened today. 1st being Trevor Cann having his collarbone broken by one of Duchene's wrist shots ( I had a chance to talk to Doogie after they were finished and he felt pretty bad about it, great kid.) And second i got my first look at both Quincy and Anderson and i have to say i am impressed. Quincy has a strong accurate slapshot which is something we desperately have needed (also i noticed him hand one of his sticks up to the stands for a young kid and i love to see this kind of class from any player ). Also Anderson has great speed, timing and vision there is just this high level of confidence about him and a drive to succeed. I believe both are good additions.

According to the article the Avalanche along with several other NHL teams are trying to incorperate virtual adds into their broadcasts. These are the same adds that the MLB uses and that the Rangers tested last season. They received several complaints about it being a distraction right behind the net, while also supposedly receiving positive feedback as well. I dont know about you but having a giant floating subway sandwitch behind the net does not sound like fun to me.

a) whos number you sport on your jersey

b) what your favorit 3 hockey trinkets are

personally i sport a Stas jersey although i also had a forsbers, sakic, and roy growing up

and my favorite 3 items are my gigantic avalanche flag signed by lappy shortly before he did not resign, i also have a poster from 1976 when the winter olympics were going to be held in Colorado its a goalie and its pretty cool i have never seen anothe poster of its kind and, my joe sakic rookie card.  I also have a signed doug gilmore jersey and i laugh everytime i look at it how about them apples. :)
