Nice to see our young, improving QB getting a little recognition. Sometimes he seems like the forgotten man, even though he plays the most important position in sports. And a certain Ole Miss QB is not on this list.

Maybe I'm being a big homer, but 48.5 seems really low for a team with this much talent. So, I ask you, if you were in Vegas and had to put money on this, would you go over or under? And if you were an oddsmaker, what would you put the number at instead? Update: sportsbook.com has the number at 51.5

They would simply absorb the salary of Jefferson using the trade exception they got from the Boozer trade. Now, the question is, if they do this can they also afford to match the Wes Matthews contract?

Now if this team can land Mike Miller and Derek Fisher as rumored, they will definitely be the title favorites for the foreseeable future, if they aren't already.

So the Hawks finally decide to break the bank and they give Joe Johnson $119 million? I can't be the only one that thinks in 3 or 4 years the Hawks are going to be kicking themselves.

Apparently if he turns down this 3 year $65 million extension, he could be had for the right price. Highly doubt they'd consider trading him within the division, though.

The Portland Trail Blazers have targeted University of Memphis guard Elliot Williams and are actively working to get an additional first-round pick in the 20s to draft him, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Without another pick in the late first round, Portland will have to decide whether it wants to use the 22nd selection on Williams. The Blazers would prefer to use No. 22 on a different player, but don’t believe Williams will be available when they select again at No. 34.

Sources say the Blazers have been willing to give Memphis the 34th overall pick and as much as $3 million to get one of the Grizzlies’ two picks – either Nos. 25 or 28.

Chad Ford wrote recently that Williams worked out for the Blazers but it was not open to the media (if the workout occurred in Portland).
