Did any fellow Pitters score a Golden Parra Bobblehead today? I figured out the clues as soon as they said 2002 world series player has ties here. Clearly talking about Tim Salmon who went to Grand Canyon U. Unfortunately clue #2 led me to salt river fields therefore I was then 30 min away from GCU. So didn't get my hands on a golden bobble but did however score some free tix to Parra bobblehead night :-) Interested to hear if anyone else played along with the hunt.

Brandon Webb going for the big 20

Tonight Webby toes the rubber with a 19-4 record - already the best in baseball - going for his 20th win against a not so good Padres team. He is pretty much a sure bet for the Cy Young the only real competition is Lincecum, on a bad SF team, who in my opinion shouldnt get it for that reason. And possibly Sabathia: but he was in the AL for half the year, and really wasn't pitching well until becoming a Brewer, so Webby should definitely get the hardware. Why haven't we extended this guy yet? It's ridiculous: he is the best pitcher in the majors - give him whatever he wants for God's sake.

Possible Line up shifts in the desert

On dbacks.com they stated that with Upton coming back soon they may make some shifts. This would put Upton in RF like usual Dunn to 1st, Tracy to 3rd where he played when he first joined the ball club Reynold would play 2nd which he stated was comfortable for him since he played there many times before including in AA ball, he has also been practicing fielding ground balls in that spot and flipping balls to 2nd base. The rest of the line up would remain the same Co-Jack LF, Drew SS, Young CF, Snyder or Monterro C. I personally like this idea for the offensive aspect of things, but Reynolds at 2nd kinda raises a red flag for me. He could be good there be he could also be terrible i dont know. He has made some great web gems this year but he is also the league leader in errors over at the hot corner. I personally thought they should put Upton at 2nd which he played his whole career leading up to the majors even tho it was just middle school and high school haha. What are your guys' thoughts?

Brandon Lyon not quite king of the jungle material

Once again Brandon Lyon has a very dissapointing outing leaving me very angry. The D-backs were down 3-2 with the heart of the order due up next inning, Co-Jack, Big Adam Dunn, and TC (bye the way i have no idea why melvin put tony clark 5th in the line up) but any ways we have a very good chance of coming back. But of course Brandon Lyon can never make things easy. He gives up 3 doubles and these werent just texas leaguers these were shots i mean he got rocked and he has his last 6 or 7 outings. We are in a tight pennant race and we cant have Lyon trying to figure things out in the closer role with the game on the line. Can we please stop playing this guy. I cant wait till september call ups so we can get a few more arms in the bullpen so we can stay away from the dreadful Brandon Lyon.

marlins are getting beaten 2day

about to head out to the last game of the dbacks marlins series im thinking we are pretty much going to destroy. But double D is on the mound so i cant be 100 percent sure. He has had some sketchy outings lately hopefully he can get his game together and come away with the W and help us pull away from those pesky little dodgers. P.s I hate Manny Ramirez with a passion dont know why. Maybe its his greesy ass hair, or maybe his fat ass haha.
