Cousins is the next Moses Malone?
A bit of a stretch, but I like this quote in particular.
"You can calm down a fool before you can resurrect a corpse."
Aldridge doubtful tonight vs. Warriors

BDL Behind the Boxscore
"Somehow our spirit is all messed up." - Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni.
Well, yeah. Tyreke Evans is going to do that to a lot of teams for the next 15 years
Gavin talks about the win. Del Negro walks by and hides his face in shame at 0:34.
Maybe Spencer is who Westphal was talking about at 2:20. Match ups may have been part of the reason, but he was obviously irritated about someone in this interview.
Interview with Sergio Rodriguez
Sounds like he's pretty excited to play for the Kings. In Spanish.
Interesting stuff about Rubio, the draft, and his buyout

Brad, we love you, too.
Brad apparently got a little emotional talking about his days with the Kings.
NBA.com shows JT some love
Cool story regarding JT and how he came out of nowhere.
Theus Comparison
I saw a recent poll over at our very own Sacramento Bee asking for a grade on Reggie Theus' first season as head coach. Since people here know more about the game and the team I thought I would ask the same question, with a little comparison information to consider.
W L % Ortg Drtg
Sam Vincent 32 50 .390 104.6 (24th) 109.4 (20th)
Marc Ivaroni 22 60 .268 105.0 (22nd) 111.4 (28th)
Larry Krystkowiak 26 56 .317 105.3 (21st) 112.8 (30th)
Reggie Theus 38 44 .463 107.5 (13th) 109.9 (25th)
As you can see, compared to other first year coaches, Theus has the best record. But the defense leaves a lot to be desired (who knew?) Considering we were without key offensive players for a multitude of games this year, I am impressed with the 13th in Offensive Rating, though.

Speaking of Karma
It looks like Stephen Jackson may be getting his fair share!
From the looks of it, the Golden State or Denver poll was almost a wash, but I for one wish I could have seen Jackson's face last night!
It would take a flawless last few games and a stroke of luck to get the Warriors into the playoffs now.
