shanaplan and the skins
I WILL MAKE THIS CLEAR!!!!
manning WILL sign with the vikings or the jets. NOT the skins.
As far as our beloved skins, history is a clear indication of our future. Shanaplan has been transparent as they could without expsoing their hand.
Year 1. implement the system on defense and offense- see what we have. numerous cuts were made that cleared salary and age. they also said that they will build through the draft and compliment the draft with FA. (more pics)
year 2. shanahan said that we needed more pressure on the QB at the end of year 1 season. what did we do? we drafted kerrigan and jenkins, signed bowen and coefield. carriker had a breakout year.
hasslet said we needed more takeaways. what did we do? signed wilson and atogwe.
we did not have any major signings on offense. in 2 years our defense was solidified with the addition of playmakers.
year 3. shanahan said we needed playmakers on offense. The question is what is a playmaker? Is jay cutler a playmaker? if so, then is rex grossman a playmaker? theres good jay bad jay like good rex and bad rex. is beck a playmaker?
shanahan said that they look for guys in the 25-27 age group, that are hard nose, lunchpale, and leaders. NO premadonnas here fellas (except hall). Ex vincent jaxson off your list. no moss. no owens (eventhough i wouldnt mind).
Shanahan also said that he would bet his career on grossmen and beck. I think he will this year. i also think that we will be trading back to get more pics. that is why he wants to hold our 2nd round pic. i do not see the browns trading up as well. i belive a team like the bills will. do not be suprise if the cowboys do.
HEAR ME OUT
WE ARE NOT GETTING RG3.!!!!!
Our beloved skins will trade for SAM BRADFORD. it makes way more sense for both sides. Not just for football puposes, but for business purposes as well. they save huge money and gain more picks. we have huge money and more picks with no QB. they have wholes across the board. i think stl will wait until after FA to see how the draft goes. IF CLE gets FLyn or whoever at a high cost, stl can still grab rg3 at 6. WE forget that shan was trying to trade 2 years ago for bradford.
Is Andrey Blatche a poor mans Dirk Novistski?
i have been tryen to see who his game is most comparable too. At first, i thought it was Cwebb, then i looked closely and his vertical is that of dirk. his unwillingness to stay inside is exactly like dirk. He can dribble, somewhat slow but elusive, and when he is on- he is dirk. the problem is his conditioning and like dirk this year, they seem to be in identical situations. my only fear is that letting him go, he will become the next cwebb in sac. what are you all thoughts?
Another Last year OfF Season
The main thing this regime has been saying consistently is continuation. With that being said, we are not going after a FA Starter level QB that has NO experience in the scheme!!!!
In year 1, we switched to the 3-4. Forced people into the scheme to see who fit and who does not. Year 2, look at what happened. We have damn near a playoff Defense. In his 2nd off season, Shanahan stressed that he wanted pressure to the QB and look at us now. He focused on the defense, while steadily improving the offense.
This year, he is emphasizing on established the run. By doing so, you will kill 2 birds with one stone. It protects the QB by 1) running more and 2) it sets up play action. Our main FA pickups will be the oline, specifically the interior of the line. LG, C, and RG are open. Jammal Brown is still relatively young and lined up against Chester. We are not changing 4 out 5 olinemen. We already have willie smith (diamond in the rough) at RT/ Locklear as back up to both LT and RT.
In the spirit of Shanallen, we are not going to over spend on FA. WE ARE NOT!!!!! Shanahan refuses to draft wr in early rounds, and then he did not go after brandon marshel. Bowe is not a locker room guy. Get him off your list. I think realistically a guy like desean Jackson would be here. He is not feeling philly and wants revenge. Like cofield and bowen.
Torrain is on this roster due to shanahans first year here. We had all old backs and unfamiliar/ suited for the system. He went with someone who was. He will be around here next year and getting PT, unless hillis comes here. To me, they are the same player. No point in signing Hillis.
My predictions in the draft, forgot the amount of picks so i am assuming 1 per round
1st round-
Shanahan stated last year that he wanted a young mcnabb.....*hint* Cam Newton last year. Missed out on him and traded back for more serviceable players in areas off need. This year’s Mcnabb is way more accurate in RG3....if history repeats and if he is not available, look for a trade back for more picks. if not RG3, look for the best Olinemen in th late 1st round
2nd round pick
this here, is the money pick. I think we will pick a game-breaking WR
3rd
CB
4th
HB

The more things change, the more things stay the same
This team is a team full of hard working, second tier players. It is not a bad thing. “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” The thing is, this is the NFL and when you only have maybe 4 out of 22 (11 on both sides of the ball) players better then the opposition, hard work loses 3 out of 6 games. We are a good TEAM. That does not mean we are a winning team. Look at Dallas and Philly. Team chemistry is low but they can score with the best of them and stop the best of them.
Let us not kid ourselves. How many playmakers do we have on offense? NOT ONE!!!!!! Maybe Fred Davis. There is the problem; our TE is the main playmaker. Every team has at least 2 playmakers that aren’t the oline or TE. Not my skins.
Trent Williams was not worth the top pick, but we needed oline help badly. Our receiving corp. is mediocre. Hightower shows flashes but only averaged a little over 3 yards/ carry prior to the game. Look at torrain last week. As much as I hate to say it, Beck was a playmaker last game and last week with his scrambling. We have a core of players. This next draft, I expect to see playmakers in the first few rounds.
Things I have noticed
Adem Carriker has 5 sacks (leading the team) and Rocky is leading the team in tackles. Aggressive DC but CB playing soft?(off 5 yards or more on WR). KS is the horrible at calling plays. We pass excessively, especially in the second half. People can run it down our throats and we cant do a damn thing about it. We are a ZERO threat offense.
The more things change, the more thins stay the same.
Reasons why shanallen are perfect for the skins (QB,HB/FB, WR/TE)
1. THE ELEMENT OF SUPRISE!!!!! Nobody has come close to guessing right what they hell they will do next. Our offense and defense served its purpose last year. Bruce said it when he was hired, we are going to see what we have. How else can you see what we have unless you play what you have. hence last season switch to the 3-4, Zone blocking, and going deep-then-medium-then short pass plays.
I will breakdown each position since 2009 and explain my reasoning as objective as possible.
QB
2009 2010 2011
Jason Cambell Donavan Mcnabb John Beck
Todd Collins Rex Grossman Rex Grossman
Rich Bartel John Beck Kellen Clemens
Shanallen got here and traded a second-round (37th overall) pick in the 2010 draft and a conditional third- or fourth-round pick in the 2011 draft for Donavan Mcnabb. He also traded 2009 UDFA, Doug Dutch, for a 2nd round 2007 QB (one of the best QB prospects that year), John Beck.
Without us even knowing, in one off-season, we had the following: an "all-pro/ potential HOF" QB, a person that already knows the offense, and a project QB. this shows that the front office had a security blanket in place, just in case Mcnabb was not who they thought he was, so we let him off the hook ( dennis green voice). Mcnabb looked like he didnt grasp the scheme. Now, we have 2 QB's that grasp the scheme. if it does not work, then next year we do what we dit in '10 but draft instead of trade for a QB. then we will have a Project QB and a QB(s) that grasp the scheme. Sounds like his old Denver teams!
HB
2009 2010 2011
Clinton Portis (Injured) Clinton Portis (Injured) Ryan Torrain (injured)
Rock Cartwright Ryan Torrain (injured) Tim Hightower
Ladell Betts Andre Brown Roy Helu
Quinton Ganther James Davis Evan Royster
P.J. Hill Keiland Williams Keiland Williams (RB/FB)
Marcus Mason Mike Sellers (FB) Darrel Young (FB)
Mike Sellers (FB) Darrel Young (FB) Mike Sellers (FB/TE)
Shanallen knew what they were getting with portis, but did like they always do, go out and get low-risk/ hi-reward type of players. they cut those players that did not fit the scheme from '09. They picked up ryan torrain, keiland williams, and darrel young for nothing! Clinton portis gets cut. Now we have 2/3 new HB that fit the system on top of an often injured torrain. All of our HBs were for nothing. We have a power back (torrain and i will say Royster, simply he does not yield negative yards) and speed in hightower and helu. Again, sounds like Denver!
WR/TE
2009 2010 2011
Santana Moss Santana Moss Santana Moss
Randle-El Anthony Armstrong (UDFA) Jabar Gaffney
Devin Thomas Joey Gallaway Anthony Armstrong
Malcolm Kelly Roydell Williams Terrance Austin
Marko Mitchell Terrance austin (7th round) Niles Paul
Chris Cooley (injured) Brandon banks (UDFA) stallworth
Fred Davis Cooley hankerson
Todd Yoder Fred Davis Cooley
Logan Paulsen (UDFA) Davis
Paulsen
If progress is what you like, this and RB progessed leaps and bounds compared to '09. Our #2 from last year is where he should be#3. we have speed and size, route running, playmaking, and hands everywhere. More importently, we are young again.
Tomorrow will be the oline and dline. You may just be surprised!!!!!
Hear me out
It amazes me how the majority of fans can not see what Shan/Allen is doing. “hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard”. Breeding competition is breeding hard work. last year, we switched to a 3/4.
what i saw with the defense, were the following: small dline getting pushed (kemo looked lazy and AH), uncomfortable LB corp missing tackles (except for Rack and Fletch), and secondary missing tackles ( moore especially). we gave up far too many deep passes (houston game comes to mind) and couldnt stop the run. I saw players their to make plays, but other then Landry, flecth, hall, and Orackpo-none rarely did.
problem solved in one year! Since only 4 made plays, we will have 6-7 new starters on defense. a totally new run stuffing dline that works hard with talent! LB corp is one year into the system and add orakpo 2 (kerrigan) and maybe another ILB, either way, perry is stepping it up. our secondary will be dominate. Wilson is carlos with hands and speed, OJ is ed reed, landry and hall are already pro bowlers! Our defense is set.
On offense what i saw last year were the following: underthrown and overthrown balls to WIDE OPEN wr, a non cohesive line, and injuries in the backfield. I never saw mcnabb running for his life. He got sacked more then i liked, but he still seemed to have time to throw.
Problem somewhat solved: Mcnabb problem were his inaccurate short to intermediate routes. Beck is good in that area (his knock is on deep passes), oline improving, Torrain would have been a 1,000 yard back but he was on the PRACTICE SQUAD for 4 weeks and got injured for 3 weeks. still ran for 700 yards. AA was damn near 1,000 yard wr and he is pushing for 3rd string. Kyle system works and we have the pieces in place. QB is not lacking as long as beck or rex do not start playing out their roll. Time manager, beck wins cause he is patient. shoot out, rex hands down…he is built for a run and gun any way.
I am not saying we will win the SB, we will be more competive this year, then last year. 10-6 should be our goal. Shan does not belive in losing or f'en up his legacy. so suck for luck is out the door. that is a losing menatlity. Our locker room is now full of lunch pale guys that wants to win, and have talent. the whole team make up is completely different from last year. we are in the steelers/ravens model.
Have faith! HTTR

Here is some spiked Kool-aid (offense only)
The Skins will have a complete turn around on offense this year and here is why........
The Bruce SHanaplan is amazing. lets start with the Oline
- people fail to realize that shanahans 1st season for the skins was to see who he had to work with, in his scheme. What does he do? Drafts the stud LT for the next X amount of years. In essence, he re-drafts licht. Jamal Brown is a young LT who was coming off an injury and played with a swollen LEG (it will behove us to resign him because it takes a year to understand the zone blocking scheme). Lastly, Allahan gets their role back up players for the future and give them valuable experience by throwing them in the fire (starting).
What does this tell me? We have 3 starters for next year (twilliams, litch, brown) and three back ups that have game experience (priceless) that can play different positions, throughout the line (hicks, mont, and i hate to say it, but Heyer). We are now going to target, 2 STARTING quality FA's that already have zone blitzing experience because that is what they played in. They said they have the money to match anybody, correct? Shanahan already said that he refuses to pay for a pricey WR because they are a luxery, correct? if he doesnt spend on skill players, who will they spend on? THE OLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now for the run game
- do not get it twisted, ATV was a 1000 yard back. he missed the first 4 games, was hurt for like 3 games? and still ran for 800 yards. What did they do? they signed multiple guys that were good in college. Chad simpsons and the kid from clemson. may not look good on paper, but we also drafted helu, who is going to be an instant upgrade to keiland williams. Sellars did run quite a few wrong routes, but FB is not a need. He is fine for now. next year, he will get replaced. A better oline= a better rushing attack.
WR
- lmao. galloway, roydel, etc. lol. AA wasnt on the team early as well, gues what happened? he damn near got a G recieving yards. moss might just be too small, old, and slow to make the squad. Not because of talent, but because he was not shanahans guy. what makes this wr corp different from kelly and the other kid? Each of the wr were not one year wonders and/or a history of injuries. hankerson is a stud and was the 2 best wr. how was it julio jones when the knock on him was hands? atlanta pushed themselves back. with hankerson and pauls showed tremendous progress each year. they both are playmakers and then add the smu guy speed and size, they are light years ahead of the corp last year.
QB
- i thought mallet was our guy, but oh well. Mcnabb will be at the helm. all these media hoopla is Bull$%&T. Grossmen throws way too many INt and who has seen beck play? this is a ploy to light a match under mcnabb to practice harder. if he falls, then our #2 starts either way the Qb for the future is not on the team yet, but whoever it is today, has options and a line.
NO NEED TO EXPLAIN TE
hankerson trent / licht / FA CENTER / FA RG / jam brown/ cooley pauls/moss AA
MCNABB
ATV
DRINK UP
The wizards off-season
I believe this draft will not be as bad as people think. I do belive it has a lot of good role players but lack that one or 2 star power punch. If you we do not get the top 3 pick, we HAVE 2 trade to maixmize the value. Their is not a player at4-7 worth picking for us. However, we will have great value at 17-19 (forget where the 2nd pick is) for a 6-8 man. With that being sad, i belive the wizards should trade thier first pick to fill the void at SF to the 76ers and GET ANDRE IGGY.
He is the following: somewhat young, athletic, knows his role, creates for others, not a LEAD (not batman, but Robin), plays JWALL DEFENSE at 3, and is a terror in the open court. We lack the following: DEFENSE, a robin to JWALL, and a SF.
In the NBA, you need at least 2 stars to win. We only have one and he makes another. the team would look like this
1. JWALL
2. Nik Young
3. IGGY
4. Blatche
5. Javale
6. Lewis (if not included in IGGy trade)
7. J. Crawford
8. Seriphin
9. (17th Pick)
10-15. fill out the roster
A Solid Case Why The Redskins Are Targeting Ryan Mallett
Editor Update: A fine post possibly ruined by this breaking news on Mallett.
This is not Mike Shanahan's offense...it is Kyle's. Why do people talk about the type of QB Mike Shanahan likes (which most get it misconstrued), when Kyle's QB is on the contrary. The difference in both systems is that Mike is run first and Kyle is pass first.
Mike Shanahan
He runs first to set up play action and bootleg. His basic package is with 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 HB, and a FB. To succeed in this system, Mike NEEDs a QB that can throw on the run. That is why the trade for McNabb made perfect sense. Cutler thrived in it.
Kyle Shanahan
Shotgun heavy with emphasis on stretching the field. Basic package: 3 WR, 1 TW, and 1 HB. To succeed in this system, Kyle Shanahan NEEDs a Qb with pocket presence to allow the play to develop. Matt Schaub thrived in it.
McNabb, prior to the trade, fit the bill for both Shanahans. He can pass on the run with pocket presence. Late in the season, it was clear that Rex rossman ran the offense more smoothly then McNabb. Not because he can throw off the run, but because of pocket presence. Looking into this years draft, the only QB that makes sense for Kyle's system is Ryan Mallet. Jake Locker is what I stated about McNabb, but without pocket presence. Accuracy is a huge factor to be a pocket passer in Kyle's system. How many deep balls were under or over thrown by McNabb? And for that matter, even intermediate routes?

ive been thinken
Projects, for the most part never pan out to be better then role players. I will explain in the following why the wizards are far behind the curve then people think and why the clippers are far ahead of the curve then people are willing to admit:
SUPER SUPER-STARS
1. The draft rarely gives you a super-super star. There only 5 super-superstars in the league right now and they are the following: dwade, melo, james, D12, and kobe. They were either instant stars or a year later was their breakout year. All the above have 1) that "it" factor, 2) single handedly puts their team in the playoffs early because they knew how to win early 3) and may be the most, managment does whatever it takes develop their individual talents and surround them with complimentary players. these guys can be on any team and not only dominate, but win!
We all can admit that we have a star in J-wall. (1) he has that "it" factor. However (2), he/the team/managment all have a losing mentality. Jwall may not have it completely, but he is losing very badly and for those that played a sport, it can be very contagious. (3) if he is the core, he is surrounded by players that does not compliment him one bit. ball movement is key to his development. The teams #1 scorer is Nyoung and ball movement makes his game obsolete.
Now look at the clipps. The have Blake grff. (1) he is a superstar in his 1st actual playing season (2) he single handedly keeps his team in games (3) he has players that compliments his game. and gordan is still young!!!!
SUPER-STARS
2. In the NBA, the superstar is born during their 3rd year. It is the breakout year. Look at all the superstars in the past and present. It was during their 3rd year that they became household names. the doubled their stats form the 1st year to the 2nd, and then trancended their game to the next level in the 3rd year. the thing is with the super star, the role players play a vital role in their success. look at derrick rose, rondo, deron williams, and chris paul. they have role players that not only compliments them, but they contribute. rose is a slasher: so you have a qucik pf that can shoot and rebound effeciently and a blue collar center.....rondo has the big 3....deron williams always had versitile bigs that can rebound and push...and cris paul has another all star caliber pf with catch and shoot players that play scrappy defense.
the wizards has a rondo-rose palyer in wall. his right hand man is young. a one on one player that doesnt pass. option 2 is a pf that thinks he is scottie piipen and forgets he lacks athleticism. everybody on the team besides booker and mcgee are anti-wall
the clipps....they have a d12 at pf with soft hands..a savy vet pg that looks to pass...a young sg that can score....an all star center and vet in chris kaman......are you startiong to see my point?
to sum this up, the wizards projects are not worth the PT. how do we have a team full of projects? what sense does that make? this will never work!!!!!
we need a savy vet that knows how to play and teach mcgee how to position himself....kirk is fine for jwall, but he is not a winner..he is a scrapper. mcgee reminds me so much of samuel dalembert....not good. we should have never got rid of seun livingston....yi is an asian blatche...terrrible..
i suggest we trade young and blacthe for robyn lopez , pietrus and jared dudley........and draft the bpa all the time.
BASKETBALL IS THE ONLY TEAM SPORT THAT THE TEAM WITH THE BEST PLAYER ON THE COURT WINS. forget about projects...a teasm should have 2-3 at the most...the other players need to be compitent
Next year turn around
Rookie/Fa- i prefer draft first, FA 2nd. Vice versa for FA/ rookie
I do not believe we have as many holes as people believe. i just think we have a huge misuse of personel. If fat al stays, our d-line could be a strength

Javale is not a good center
Javale does not have the it factor....he has the me factor. i am going to break down his game and show you.
1. What is a center?
- a center is the crowd control in the paint. an effective center is good at rebounding, help defense, off ball screens and pick and rolls. On a fast tempo team, a fairly good center will box out effectively then run baseline to baseline, and hope for a put back. Examples are kedrick perkins (fairly desent), tyson chandler (fairly good), then dwight howard (exceptional). On a half court team, a fairly good center does help defense, alter shots, box out, run to a set position on the other end, off ball screens, pick and rolls, and if given the ball in the paint-has a set ove moves to either get to the line or shoot a high percent shot. Examples are Roy Hibbert/ B Haywood/ Dalembert/ robyn lopez/ dampiert/ nazr muhammed (all fairly desent), chandler again/ big Z/ Andris bierdnis/ Kris Kamen?/ young gasol/ Shaq/ (fairly Good), then dwight again, horford?/ Lopez(PF-C) / Tim Duncan/ joakim noah/ brook lopez/ pau gasol/bynum
Javale
pros: "can run and jump" lol...run baseline to baseline, and hope for a put back
con: can not do the following effectively: rebounding, help defense, off ball screens and pick and roll, box out, run to a set position on the other end, given the ball in the paint-has a set ove moves to either get to the line or shoot a high percent shot
In a guard oriented league, Javale does not know his roll. he plays like a guard in the paint, with no handles nor a consistent jumper. He has the tools however, unlike Blatche, he has no clue what to do on either side of the ball besides highlight reals. He is a poor mans tyson chandler and that is not good at all. What has chandler doen without Paul? What will javale do without Wall? He is not an all star. everybody on the all star team can run and shoot, the difference is they KNOW how to play NBA basketball. He doesnt.
Roy Hibbert/ B Haywood/ Dalembert/ robyn lopez/ dampiert/ nazr muhammed are all better starting centers
I like what we have!!!!
Here me out. Wall is our start/ all start/ our deron williams/ chris paul/ etc. whatever! Cool! now for the rest of the roster, i think will evolve with wall...I look at chris paul's team and deron williams, NO has a worst roster then we do take away paul and wall, yet they were a game away from the championship few years ago. ADD them and there team are at the very least competitive. I look at that NO team back then and i think we are better then they were. by far more athletic.
the wiz 2011 NO 2008
1. wall 1. paul
2. arenas 2. mo pete
3. thorton 3. stojakovic
4. blatche 4. david west
5. mcgee 5. chandler
Individually, we are better. paul/ wall cancel each other out in this case. Arenas is better then mo pete. Thorton is way more athletic then peja. Blatche second half is better then undersized david west. and chandler is a more polished and experienced mcgee. Mcgee reminds me of him when he was in chi town with curry. lol. pathetic, but had highlights.
we are ok this season. lower seed at best. lottary at worst and thats not bad for next season sf that we need? i think not.
WHERE ARE THE TRUE REDSKINS FANS AT?
I am tired of hearing you all bash my team and the football desicions they are making. Anybody who watched college football will tell you that we drafted to our scheme, not for the name like cerrato.
Terrible potential picks, that you all keep crying about!!!!!
1. bruce cambell? this guy is highly over-rated. only played one year at tackle and was hurt at that. he was a raw talent which makes him a project player. Project being a 2-3 year return on investment. if we want to win now, that would have been a bad move.
2. the safety myron rolle? the nack on him was the same as taylor mayes. at safety, they did not make spectacular plays. mays was a heavy hitter that cant cover and rolle is a coverage safety that had one int and average game speed. plus a year removed from foot ball!!!!!
back to OUR skins!!!!
1. mike sellers is 34 years old and was terrible last year. hell yeah you draft a full back thats 6-2 260 and can block his as off in the 6th. he is faster, better blocker, and 11 years younger for dirt cheap.
2. we complained about special teams. why the hell will devin tomas (a starter) or d hall (leader in int) field kicks and punts. you draft a specialist. austen is cj spiller at reciever. he was great on returns and is faster then moss now!
3. we are thin at middle LB. a need for us. with the 4th rounder, draft the finalsit for bukis award for nations top LB in round 4. WOW!!!! better fit then mcintosh inside.
4. we are not asbad in the safety department with landry and horton. we also have doughty, a capable starter and moore a good back up. why draft here?
5. why draft a RB when we have 3 featured back thats not old yet. we have a 3 headed monster here. and shan specializes in offense!!!!!
6. we are now a running team that can pass ( thanks to the shans) with 2 recieving TE's.
7. Capers was the steal of the draft!!!! this guy is an ideal zone block OL. the knack on us, was that we cannot block. shanallen brought in the following
Eric cook 6'6- 318 center
| 75 | Hicks, Artis | G | 6-4 | 335 |
| 78 | Lichtensteiger, Kory | G | 6-3 | 295 | 2 |
| 0 | Capers, Selvish | OT | 6-4 | 308 |
| Morris, Dennis | TE/FB | 6-2 | 265 |
| Williams, Trent | T | 6-5 | 314 | R | Oklahoma |
| Ryan, Sean | TE | 6-5 | 260 | 6 |
| Vickers, Lee | TE | 6-6 | 275 | 2 |
that is 8 players just for blocking: 2 tackles, 1 center, 2 guards, 2 TE, and a H-back!!!! Bravo!!!!!!
Allen and shanahan know what they are doing and they have a plan!!!! HTTR
stop your blood clot crying
Portis for San Diego's Cromartie and 2nd or 3rd round pic
After considering the fact that Portis does not have the same heart like he use to for the redskins (practice? we are just talking about practice?), he still has huyge name recogntion. LT is out and sproules is a free agent. Portis fits with this teams scheme.
Cromartie has fallen out of favor with the organization and we could use an upgrade in our secondary. we tender rogers for a 3rd rounder and our secondary is now hall/cromartie and smoot as the 3rd corner. Im not just sold on barnes, but he is a huge hitter and has better hands then rogers.
SD gets there Rb, skins get a young CB and another draft pic!
what do you all think?
what the wizards should do
this year is a wrap. not enough shots for all our shooters
1. trade for mcgrady- a) bring new life in the org b) huge expiring contract c) what do we have to loose? d) he can jack all he wants. can create his own shot against anybody...no one else can
trade him for jamison and foye......jamison contract off the books and foye is a poor mans steve francis. so we get cap relief and free up shots for other people
2. trade caron for a draft pick and a distibuting pg. this gives us 2 lotto pics plus a much needed distrubuting point guard, not a score first pg....adre miller?
3. trade haywood for tayshean prince
projectyed starting 5
pg adre miller
sg mcgrady
sf mike miller/ prince depending on match ups
pf blacthe
c mcgale
bench
6th young
7th miller/ prince
8th boykins/james/ who cares
9th oberto
10th mcguire
pray we draft wall
Josh Cribbs back home!!!!? plus more to become playoff team
1. lets get cribbs back home and solve the returning problem....pay him randel el money and cut randel el. rock can now block for cribbs. he can develop and push aldridge.
2. pick up leftwhich.. he is a great back up
3. bring in duante robinson and that will add depth to CB and cut smoot
4. bring in anotine bethea or darren sharper at FS
5. bring in jermon bushrard at LT plus 1-2 more OL

what i would do this off season is
Get Jon gruden...he won with rich gannon and brad johnson...JC is better then both
after i cut, wyn, p daniels, heyer, w. montgomery randel el, smoot, los rogers
1. sign brandon marshell. put moss in slot....thomes/kelly one side... marshell in another
2. trade cooley for pics
3. let JC sign somewhere else, we get a pic.people forgot that cleveland wanted him( posilby 2nd and 4th pic iff signed)
4. trade portis and 2nd round pic for a first round
that gives us 2- 1st rounders, 1- 2nd rounder, 0- 3rd rounders, 2- 4th rounders....at least 5 pics in the 1st round
5. draft OL 1st round
6. CJ spiller 2nd -1st
7. black or the best linemen at the time we pic in the 2nd
8. LB and another OL in the 4th
9 free agency, sign the best OT and OL for 3 years. sign a veteren fs and LB
