I grew up with my basement a shrine to the Buffalo Bills, and ever since my first game in Rich Stadium when the Green Bay Packers fan had a bottle smashed over his head I knew I would never love a sports team as much as I love the Bills. Eventually I learned to love the Sabres close to as much and I have affection for any sports team that succeeds in Western New York. I barely played football, but growing up with avid Bills fans all around me every Sunday I learned the ways of the league before I was ten.
