Roll 'Bama Roll Question for the stats gods

Prior to our recent run...when was the last time an SEC team had back to back undefeated regular seasons, and of course...who was it?  Have been pondering this, but can't remember the who and when of it.

Also, has any SEC team EVER had 3 undefeated regular seasons.  Please don't flame me if we have in the past.  I'm completely unable to hold on to past statistics.  Roll Tide Roll

Roll 'Bama Roll What about your favorite college football mascot???

Big Al rocks, no doubt and of course, Lee Corso like Big Al's head the best!!.  But who else do you like?  Or hate?

I like Ralphie of Colorado,  I mean a lumbering buffalo is just plain cool.

I've never understood the Orange man, blob, thing.  Exactly what is it supposed to do to the opponent? s

I hate, and I mean loath, I would smite him if I could, the USC Trojan.  And the Clemson Tiger always looks like he just smoked some crack, or something, dang those eyes.

And ducks?  Puleeze I'm just not feeling the fear of the Ducks.

What do you think?

Roll 'Bama Roll Coach Saban Named Finalist for Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year

From RollTide.com  Not a surprise, but I am liking all this love for Bama!  The post goes on to say:

Alabama fans are encouraged to vote for Coach Saban online at www.CoachoftheYear.com from Dec. 15-29.  The fan vote constitutes 20 percent of the coach’s final score.

Saban won the 2008 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year and donated his winnings to Nick’s Kids Fund, a charity he and his wife Terry began when they were at Michigan State.  Since their arrival in Tuscaloosa, the Saban’s have raised more than one million dollars for the Nick’s Kids Fund, which has been distributed to numerous schools, agencies and organizations in Tuscaloosa County and the state of Alabama.

So mark your calendars and then get busy y'all!

Roll 'Bama Roll How in the heck do you cook edible gator????

I know we all have our own game day traditions.  But out here in sunny Arizona, ours centers around consumption of the opposing team mojo.  i.e.  Vols = recipies containing Lil Smokies, KY = fried chicken, Bulldogs (GA & Miss. State) = a veratible buffet of types of hot dogs, LSU = etuffe you get the picture.

I know it's corny (and all I can say is thank GOD we don't play USC), but heck, i'm betting ya'll wear a special pair of socks, a particular T-shirt or what ever.  We all have our little superstitions about what works. Todd has proved it each week this season too.

Anyway and to the point.  I received some gator tail meat a few years ago and tried my best to cook it up.  It was the nastiest, (ok, well not pork brains in milk gravy nasty) meat I've ever cooked.

Any of you fans have a tried and tested recipe for making gator meat edible?  If so, please pass it on.  This is big mojo eatin time!! Thanks....roll tide roll
