Tek had 2 home runs yesterday and if he continues to keep up the performance, i think tito should use tek when the bullpen is pitching in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings. So far, our bullpen has not been sharp and i think part goes to v-mart's ability in catching games. If tek can produce at the plate, tito should have the confidence to play him in the later innings since tek has more experience with the pitching staff. He also calls the game better that anyone. As for v-mart, he should be dh or 1b when tek becomes catcher. This gives an opportunity to give rest to ortiz, and youk. It also gives rest to beltre since youk can slide over to 3rd or it can give a day off to v-mart. It will help everyone stay fresh and give us a better chance to win. Though this should only happen if tek can prove that he is capable of hitting. I don't think this should happen every game but definetly in close games and games when guys need rest.

It is a pretty amazing team since josh reddick could hit .300 and 25 homers in the future. Rizzo and westmoreland can also hit for a good average. Casey kelly could be an all star pitcher and jon lester in the next couple of seasons will be a lock candidate for the cy young award. He is the best lefty in beseball in my opinion.

In my opinion, Danny Dard is the future closer of the red sox. I feel that papelbon is no longer worthy and much too pricy. I would trade papelbon to a team in need of a closer such as the tampa bay rays, st. loius cardinals, or baltimore orioles for 2 or 3 prospects. I would use those prospects recived from the deal and add in a top prospect from our farm such as lars anderson, micheal bowden, but not casey kelly or clay bucholz for the slugger, adrian gonzolez. It makes sense since we don't need papelbon and strongly need a power bat in the middle of the order.
