Phillip Sims Transferring to Virginia
ACC rival gets an SEC-caliber QB most likely eligible to play immediately? We'll still be heavy favorites, but UVA should pick up a couple extra wins via this move.
7'3 Boris Bojanovsky commits to FSU Basketball
The 7-foot-3, (93) native of the Slovak Republic, Boris Bojanovsky has committed to play for Head coach Leonard Hamilton at Florida State University of the ACC.
The 3 year CBA and Oakley College partnership graduate is delighted with the opportunity to be an integral piece of the reigning 2012 ACC Tournament Champions saying; This was always the goal for me when I came to CBA three years ago. My dream has come true, to know Ill be playing in the ACC under a great coach and at a power house program, I can only thank Rob Orellana and his coaching staff for pushing me everyday to make this dream become a reality.
Playing in last summers U18 European Championship, Boris averaged 22 points and 13.3 rebounds. In his time at CBA, Boris has collected many All tournament nominations, Championship MVPs and leading scoring titles, the last coming at the 2011 Rinus de Jong Invitational (Netherlands).
He possess great length and has an outstanding skill set for for a 7-foot-3 center and when you combine this with a high aray of post-up moves and a deadly mid range shot, its no wonder why Boris was in such demand by so many high-major colleges.
In fact during his time at CBA; Bojanovsky drew a recruiting interest and had received offers from NC State, Virginia Tech, Miami, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, as well as several other SEC and Pac-12 schools.
CBA Director, Rob Orellana said; In his time here Boris has become a part of my family and he is a true credit himself and to CBA; this is a great move for him as he is a high level and highly skilled center who will be challenged night in night out in the ACC. I really believe that he will flourish under the guidance of head coach Leonard Hamilton. All of us at CBA and Oakley College partnership wish Boris the all the best as he moves on to the next stage of his development.

"Look everyone is mad about what I said but u will b okay. I have faith in the guys that we have in the locker room right now that I will get it done this year."
"Y bring Tebow in when we need to bring in more Weapons for @Mark_Sanchez let's build the team around him. We already signed to 3 year ext."
How will the Jets resolve this FSU-UF locker room conflict?
Bowden Adds NFL Veteran Terrell Buckley to Staff as Cornerbacks Coach
Terrell Buckley will be leaving his role of Assistant Strength & Training Coach at Florida State to serve as Cornerbacks Coach at the University of Akron. Buckley is Akron coach Terry Bowden's newest hire, following the recent hire of Chuck Amato as Defensive Coordinator.
As I looked around Doak on Saturday, I was very impressed by general attendance. The student section faltered though.
Most students arrived after kickoff and left mid-3rd quarter. I took this photo with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The rest of the stadium was still almost entirely full. The student section looked like a ghost town.
FSU needs to send an ultimatum to students: This is not acceptable.

FSU Football Reports Six Secondary Violations
According to TD's Corey Clark, FSU Football has reported six secondary violations to the NCAA for the past football season. These are very small violations and none will adversely affect the program. Secondary violations are of a silly nature and pretty much serve to highlight the ridiculousness that is the NCAA.
Corey Clark (via Twitter, @Corey_Clark): One was for a walk-on eating a meal at training table. Another was for a player's photo appearing in a Publix advertisement on the video board during a game. Oh and I caused a secondary violation, too. Apologies, folks. I asked Greg Reid about LaMarcus Joyner and quoted him in a notebook. I didn't know current players weren't allowed to talk about high school prospects - even committed ones. Reid had hung out with Joyner during his visit - and both are big-play corners - so it was a natural to ask about him.
The NCAA really doesn't care at all about these. Some programs report upwards of 100 secondary violations per season and nothing ever happens.

ESPNU 100 SG Terry Whisnant Commits To Florida State
Terry Whisnant, an ESPN100 shooting guard out of Cherryville, North Carolina, has committed to play for the Florida State Seminoles. Whisnant plays for Cherryville High School.
Evaluation from ESPN.com contributor Andre Whitehead:
Terry's an athletic wing with great quickness to the basket in transition. He's a good shooter with a soft stroke and a high release. Terry needs to be more aggressive with the ball, which would lead to more scoring opportunities for him. But he has great length, which makes him a solid defender.
Whisnant finished his Junior season at 6'3, 175 lbs. He is ranked 78 in the ESPN100, with a position ranking of 26. He is ranked 105 nationwide on Rivals (position ranking of 30). Prior to his commitment, he was heavily recruited by Wake Forest, North Carolina, Charlotte, Auburn, and South Carolina.
More information after the jump.

Christian Ponder: Heisman Dark Horse?
Heading into summer workouts, the Heisman buzz for the 2010 season has already started. While everyone seems to have players like Mark Ingram, Ryan Mallett and Terrelle Pryor on their watch lists, one name that you will not see is Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder. Look for that to change early in the season.
Recruits at the Spring Game
I conveniently sat right above many of the recruits and attempted to note down everyone I saw.
Two of the notable names I saw were Giorgio Newberry and Bobby Hart. Both have mentioned FSU as a leader and this hopefully solidified them into potential commitments.
There were two players who appeared be from the same school. Their last names were Rainey and Henry. Does anyone know anything about these kids?
I took down a few other names, but can't find any information on them.
Who else did everyone see?
