So who do you guys think will make a impact on the team this year that the bengals got in the draft? To be honest I was not really high on the bengals first round draft pick (Keith Rivers) when they took him, I thought they should have traded to get Ellis but the more I look at it I think it was a solid pick. From what they say this guy is a very clean, hard working football player which the bengals need as we know. I don't know if this guy will ever make the Pro Bowl but it sounds like he could be a solid starter that will give you good production, which the bengals need bad on defense. I still don't know about the bengals 2nd round pick (Jerome Simpson.) The bengals need a Wr with henry gone, but every wr was on the board and they took a guy that didnt even play D-1? I mean they could have got Limas Sweed, Mario Maningham, Malcolm Kelly but they went with somebody that played D-2 lol. But this guy looks very athletic, he can make really nice catches and they he's not afraid to take a hit. I think the 4th round pick was a really good pick in Andre Caldwell. He was projected to go in the late 2nd round, early 3rd round and we got him in the 4th. I know his stats is not the greatest but you have to look past that, he a really good blocker, he is a playmaker, he can strict anytime and anywhere on the field. I hope that either Andre Caldwell or Jerom Simpson can be that 3rd wide out. I think the bengals made a real good signing with Ben Utecht, he is one of the best cathing te in the league. This is a make or break year for the bengals.

Leave Dunn Alone

Im so tired of listening to people talk about how the Reds should trade Adam Dunn. Dunn has hit 40 hrs or more the past 4 years in Cincinnati and is definitely on pace to do it again this year. Dunn is tied right now for first in hrs with Ryan Howard. Yes I know he strikes out alot but he also has the most walks in baseball. With his contract being up next year no one knows if the Reds will sign him back. We all know the Reds are not going to sign Griffery back so they should be getting some money back there although he has a 4 million dollar buyout. I still think the they should try to sign a starter in the offseason but I dont know if they will have the money to sign one if they sign Dunn back plus giving Francisco Cordero that huge contract. All I am saying is I dont know if I would let a guy go that you can count on hitting 40 hrs or more for the next few years.
