I ran across this awesome article the other day and just had to share it with all of you.  I'm sure some of you may have already read it, but for everyone else it is a great reminder of the kind of person Lavar is.  A reporter hung out with him for a day and wrote about everything they did and what makes the DC community love Lavar so much.

ESPN has ranked the top BCS teams that either have easy non-conference schedules or tough ones.  It is based on the highest percentage of non-conference games played against other BCS opponents since 1998.  I guess I can't really remember what PSU's non-conference schedules were like 8-10 years ago, but this is sort of interesting.  You may be surprised...

Sorry for the Des Moines link, but I'm from Iowa.  However, I was hooked on Penn State football at the young age of 8 when I saw Ki-Jana Carter make every game look like Junior Varsity defenses trying to tackle God.  I even bought a regular white mesh jersey and wrote the number and name on the back in blue.

I've been looking at this blog for about a year or so and finally decided to sign up...and don't hate cause I'm from state of Iowa.  I love it here, I just don't care for the U of Iowa football and basketball teams.  Looking forward to participating a little more here!
