Does Anyone else think that Adam Laroche might be a good fit for the 2010 White Sox?

This is my first fanpost so I apologize in advance if I haven't formatted correctly.  I have been looking for a forum to discuss why Laroche has not come up very often, if at all, in the discussion of how to fill our left handed power hitting void left by Thome's departure. 

I think he is a good fit for the Sox for a few reasons.  First of all, it seemed like the market for a player with his skillset was going to pay more than it has this off season.  This shows in the contracts to Matsui and Johnson and the plethora of options still available.  Also, his numbers over a full season are only slightly above average but his second half surges how become predictable and impressive.  His post all star triple slash line over the last three years is 309/ 371/ 537 which adds to a 908 OPS. 

I know he is not the greatest bat for a DH spot but considering the alternatives and the fact that if he has even an average first half he would have a hell of a year I think he is worth a look.
