Pats Pulpit From Randy's Perspective

The Boston media is once again out there trying their hardest to vilify an outgoing Boston athlete. I've never thought of Randy as the troublemaker the sports media would like him to be and I don't think most Pats pulpit readers have. What has transpired these past four weeks certainly was not in the slightest bit the second coming of Manny Ramirez despite what the Globe, Herald and ESPN would like you to believe.

Pats Pulpit Patriots announce 2010 Defensive Coordinator... Bill Belichick?

Well, not exactly the defensive coordinator but take a gander: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/02/patriots_will_n.html

Pats Pulpit Why this Pats fan is rooting for the Jets over the Colts

I know, its like choosing how you want to be tortured but hear me out:

The modern NFL rules are so favorable to the offenses now that a team like the 2001 Patriots would have never beat the Rams under todays rules and that irks me. The fact that 2009 had around 10 QBs pass for over 4,000 yards irks me. The fact that there are no more shut down corners in the NFL today irks me. The fact that 3 out of the 4 finalists are dome teams with excellent passing attacks irks me.
