This guy has more season ending surgeries than points scored in his NBA career. There is no guarantee
these won't be reoccurring injuries, either.

It's just silly that everyone wants to anoint him as a superstar before he's even played a game. What if he turns out like Joe Smith? Or, God forbid, Michael Olowokandi.

Griffin is the savior? Really? Already?!

As a longtime Clippers fan, I hope the guy has a great career, and goes on to numerous All-Star games. But as a longtime Clippers fan, I know it's best to remain cautiously optimistic.

I'm a legend around these parts.  I'm your defending OPD champion, and I demand your respect.  I won this title ethically, there was never one hint of HGH or steroid usage throughout my body.  Every test taken came back negative!

Is this a diary, aka fanpost?  I'm all discombobulated.  I like the new digs, I think, Rev.  You've really outdone yourself.

Anyway, let's get back to me.  This year I will be going for the unprecedented status of back-to-back OPD champion.  That accomplishment would elevate me to Tiger Woods status, probably even beyond.

Now I've got to get back to crunching my OPD numbers, as there is never an off-season for a champion.  It's just one constant grind with everyone trying to knock me off.  It's hell, I tell you.

PS:  Considering I haven't used any F-bombs over the last six months, do I get 12 for the entire season?  It only seems fair.

I don't know why, but I found this quite comical.  Maybe if our guys could start acting, it could help with their on-base percentages.

Hear me out:

Nobody gets on base in front of him anyway.

He is our only decent hitter, so the more at bats he gets in a game, the better.

I don't see the drawback.

In other news:

The Angels have announced right after tonight's game that 3rd baseman Brandon Wood has been optioned back to Triple A Salt Lake because they feel hes not getting enough work in and want him in an everyday lineup. In his place the Angels have called up 3rd baseman Matt Brown. Matt Brown is batting .290, with 3 HR, 21 RBI, and 19 Runs so far this season. The Angels are looking to boost up our power by bringing up young Brown.

How incredibly disgusting would this be?  This Goldilocks look-alike, single-handedly ruined our first half of the season, and now has a chance to be the winning pitcher in the decisive game of the World Series.  I, for one, will be rooting hard for the Tigers tonight.

I love Eckstein, but I think I hate Weaver a little more.

I'm curious, now that the season is essentially over, who do you guys put the majority of the blame on?

Granted, our most likely avenue to the playoffs is to win the division, but is this a possibility also?
