All of us in the world who value diversity should take great pride, the Avalanche have signed their first Asian American player.  I hope this team gives him a chance to play.  Yes Asians can play and excel in this league if given a fair chance, the question is Brandon going to get a fair chance to succeed? Will racial bigotry stand in the way?  Only time will tell. It is about time the NHL catches up with the other league in terms of diversity.
