Albert Pujols is rediculous.

He will eliminate all pitches.

Wow big news this week

  • Khalil Greene  is flying into St. Louis and flying to San Diego will be 2 relief prospects.
  • Trever Miller Deal Finally Finalized 1yr 2mil max including incentives.
  • Winter Meetings start Monday

The Greene News is from the New York Post so I take it with a grain of salt but the last time I did a Headline like this It took two weeks for it to come to fruition.

The Pressing headlines

  • The Cards have signed Trever Miller.
  •  Cards have signed Ian Oslund.
  • The Mariners named Don Wakamatsu the manager.
    •  "Secret Weapon" still with team makes me happy.

Seems like not much is going on. No big trades in the works with the Peavy deal coming to a halt. Most free agent signing will occur after the teams offer arbitration so all is quiet. Of course once I say that CC will be on his way to New York and all the other big names will find a home and Peavy will get Traded just to spite me.

Trade Idea/ Hot stove catch all thread 11/13-250 comments

I noticed that the Hotstove had reached the limit so I thought I would create a new one.

Some Pressing Headlines

  • Braves are close to a deal for  Jake Peavy.
    • This means no Kelly Johnson or Yunel Escobar
    • Padres will get Yunel Escobar, Gorkys Hernandez, Charlie Morton or Jo-Jo Reyes, and Blaine Boyer
  • Free Agency starts tommorow
  • The Mariners will make their decision this week on the manager or they will continue interviewing candidates.  http://www.kffl.com/team/66/mlb
  • The MVP is announced Monday
    •  From Matthew Leaches Article on Pujols winning the Negro League Baseball Museum's Oscar Charleston Legacy Award
    • "It's becoming very clear that if the Baseball Writers' Association of America doesn't select Pujols as National League MVP next week, it will be a single voice in the wilderness."
