With the betting game, Nick, Luke, and the rest have come up with the perfect way to indoctrinate your friends; so make sure it gets used. IMO Randy losing to Brock gives us the best chance of seeing Fedor in the UFC. As is ,i know there is next to ZERO chance that Dana ever lets the :"Krazy Russians" compete, but the only way there is even a remote chance is if Fedor signs a minimum three fight deal. Like wise, Fedor's motivation can be summed up as such:.
-Make an ass load of money and gain North American exposure
-Fight Randy Couture
-Shut up Dana and take his belt back to Russia

 So on the night before the last PPV of the year, let's suspend our collective disbelif for just a moment  imagine how this could possibly go down.

1st fight you feed Fedor a can or just whoever, it does not matter. Fedor on a UFC card = 500,000 buys even if the under card sucks(which it will have to in order to support the large purse Fedor will inevitably demand).. 2nd fight Fedor vs Randy. Once again, IMO this is something that both fighters have wanted for years(fans maybe even more so) and say what you will but you and every other person you know would watch that fight 1.2 million buys minimum.

Now this is where it gets a little bit tricky. If Fedor (if?) wins his first two fights now Dana still has the leverage to negotiate a contract extension before he gives Fedor a title fight. No extension, no third fight. Fedor gets a shit ton of money and exposure plus the added bonus of finally getting the fight he wants. Zuffa breaks some PPV records plus plugs up some potential holes in there 96-100 events.
Dana gets to feel like he won, which is the only way this or anything gets done in the UFC.

Admittedly, I am a realitive new comer to MMA having the 1st TUF finally being my introduction. Since then I have thown down my $50 bucks pretty regularly on ppv and like to think I know a little about the current ecosystem. That being said I know almost nothing about the early days. After a guy on this sight stopped short of crowning me KING NOOB, I desided to rectify the situation. Off to Best Buy I went to find copies of the NHB days of the UFC. When I could not find what I was looking for I descided on a Pride FC disc entitled "Armed and Ready" or something like that (Pride 20?). I don't know if I just got lucky or what but WOW!!! Now I am hooked and I need my next fix, any recomendations?
