Trading #18 for Cutler???
Imagine you have a 7 series BMW with 50,000 miles on it, which just had a tune up, and had a minor problem fixed. Would you be interested in trading it in for a, barely broken in, 5 series BMW with 15,000 miles on it??? Plus, your payments would be cut in half.
I guess i'm saying that #18 is the BMW in its prime and Cutler is the gentlier used beemer.

South Park
This week's episode of South Park was a spoof of the movie Stand and Deliver. Cartman played the "latino" teacher, who tried to teach inner city minority kids to succeed and get in into college. To motivate them, he teaches them the secret to "white kids" success in getting into college. The secret is......., cheating. The rest of the episode, pretty much, explains how the patriots do what they do and the NFL not giving a crap(metaphoricly speaking, of course.)
Lions Castaway
Patriots just signed Fernando Bryant to a one year contract,...http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3303229.
Looks like they're trying to re-build their secondary "the right way," through free agency. I hope it costs them a a$$load.
Oh, and by "the right way," I mean the way that it doesn't work.
I can't take credit for this...
because I was in a panic along with all us, Colts fans. But, after watching the Tennesee vs. LSU last year, I made a diary about how we could use either Tennesse's Justin Harrell or LSU's Glenn Dorsey. These guys are identical in size and they both seemed like our kind of DLs. In that they were shooting through OL gaps and chasing after each other's QB.
I believe that LSU's Dorsey had the better game, so I liked him more, but both of them are seniors so I would be glad to have one of them playing for us alongside Booger. He could teach them the tricks of the trade, as Warren Sapp taught him.
Holy Crap
Rob Morris got a 3 year deal. I love it.
I've been critical of him as a MLB, especially in pass coverage. But Rob was an essential part of the Super Bowl. Also, he wants to be here. He's been a Colt for 8 yrs, and will, most likely, finish his career with us. That is admirable, and unheard of in this day and age.
Rob, we love you, and "keep on, keeping on."
Credit the fans
I am not sure to to credit for our defensive domination this post season. Wait, yes I am.
We all remember the home game vs. Titans, when our "INDIANAPOLIS" Colts defense was getting booed by our home crowd. If you don't remember, I DO. I was hurt, and saw a little bit of the crowd who was booing Jeff George, back in the 90s. But they were right to let our team know their frustration in the run defense.
To the crowd's retaliation to bad run defense, I believe that our defensive players made up their minds to put it all on the line for them, in the post season. Even, the coverage guys(Harper, Jackson, and David) have stepped up to help the stop the run. A good run stopping defense has 11 guys involved in the play.
We know that we have the best pass coverage unit in the NFL. If you guys don't, I DO! Our Nickel package has the best 3 CBs on the field at one time. That isn't even a quesion. But, these guys have been "LIGHTS OUT" on stopping the run as well.
As far as LBs go, BBS, I agreed with you about giving Freddie K a shot before Morris, since Rob already had his. But, man were we ever wrong. ROB "THE MORMON" MORRIS has been the lone guy who just is too much of a mismatch for any OL. He's been great. I'd say, for this post season alone, he's been worthy of the 1st round pick.
If I had a chance, I'd thank all of the guys on defense for making us proud. You guys have two games to go, and we have absolutely no doubt in our defense.
I've said this before, "we have the most potential, as a defense, in the entire NFL." But, they proved me wrong, now, "WE HAVE THE BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL!"
HOT SAUSE for Mr. Manning?
What the hell is going on? Are these ravens looking for a pounding?
I think so. People can't call out the best QB in football and one of the best young RBs in the league, without looking for trouble. And, trouble is what they'll get. The three players that didn't get called out, are the players that scare the crap out of the ravens. They're 44, 87, and 88.
I look forward to what our defensive players have in stock for this nonsense. And, don't put it past Mr. Manning to have a pretty good game.
Also, Joe likes to pound his tacklers, so this is just a bad move by the ravens.
Please, NO MORE NFC teams talk
The teams in the NFC have, absolutely, no say in who is going to win XLI.
Name an NFC team who will make it to the SB, and I will name 6 AFC teams that will beat them. EVERYONE knows that the winner of the AFC Championship game should just be crowned the SB winner. No one is interested in the NFC. I'd rather watch the paint dry, than watch any NFC matchup.
The only thing that the weaker Conference gets is the front row seat to a AFC SUPER BOWL WINNER show.
Good match-ups for us
We have some favorable matchups, if we stay as the third seed.
First, we need to beat the Dolphins to secure the our seeding.
Second, in the WC game, we will play a team which we've beaten earlier this year(Jets).
Third, we should be able to put up points on the Ravens in the Devisional playoff game.
I see us getting to the Conference championship game, despite our defensive weaknesses. And, from our playoff experience we can put forth the effort which could take us to the SB.
I believe that we have a better shot at winning the SB this year, than the Steelers did last year. Don't forget, we are 3-0 against AFC playoff teams.
A Cowboy among Steelers
I've been obsessing about this particular issue. Why would someone be a Cowboys fan in Western Pennsylvania? I've come up with a couple of theories.
First, a kid would have to have been made fun of a lot(and his ss kicked). And, to get back at the "MEAN KIDS" he would chear for the team that they were chearing against. How rebelious of him. Right, cowardly is the best way to describe it. P*SSY!!!
Second, the same thing happened to his father. So, he would raise his child to be a cowardly piece of **t just like he is.
Pick one or the other, they're both headed in the right direction.
I'm sure all of you know of whom I am speaking. If not, ask. I'll be more than happy to type this idiot's id(terry).
No Chance
There isn't a team in the NFL that can beat the Colts, when they play the way they are supposed to play.
Let's face it, boys. When our offense clicks, and our defense gets to the man with the football, no one can come close to us. There are certain teams with certain schemes, who can give us some trouble. But the way we've handled the patriots in the out last 2 meetings with them, we are ready to handle whatever D they throw at us. 18 is the man, period. Football hasn't seen a better player in any position. We saw weakness(mobility) in his game and he's improved it. He can now step out of the pocket and make a play. All he needs to do is go to 87 and 88. They will make plays.
No one can beat us when we are playing the way we are supposed to play. Let's hope that our defense is up to being inspired for the next 5 games.
Keep it coming, ESPN
I love it, and my Colts thrive on it. Keep the "not a superbowl" team ctiticisms coming.
Who are they to say, "who is a SB team and who isn't?" The Rams would not have won the SB, if there was an election by ESPN on who should play in the SB. When 18 plays like 18, he is like 19(Unitas) and will bring XLI to the Colts. Rams weren't the best defensive team in the league when they won, they weren't the "steel curtain," or the "monsters of the midway." All they did was do enough.
And, when called out, we will do "enough" to rip the head off of our opponents.
Are Colts playing "Patriot Games?"
We, Colts fans, know what I'm talking about. Coming into the playoffs too hurt to play, too hurt to have a line-up, or just learning how to play "Patriot Games."
This tactic has been used by the Patriots, from what I can recall, each time they won a SB. Their fans were worried, like us. But, we all saw what happened in the play-offs. Patriot players got, uninjured, inspired, and did what had to be done. We all remember Troy Brown playing both ways, especially blanketing Stoaks.
We are not celebrating 88's record setting day, we are trying to improve our weakness. We scrapping and fighting to put the best players we have in the line-up. We are doing what the Patriots did.
Some positive words
We will be in the play-offs, no matter what happens in the next 3 weeks.
We have one of the best QBs in the history of american football. We will get both of our starting Ss back. Diem should get enough rest from his injury, to be a factor on the OL. 44, crossing my fingers, should feel well enough to play. In my opinion, top to bottom, we have the best CBs in football. Ricky Proehl will get some game reps. Gilbert Gardner is no longer in the starting line-up. I just hope all of these positives happen at the same time, play-off time.
If all of the stars align, like they did for the Steelers last year, we will have a good shot at XLI. No one had the Steelers on their breath as the possible SB winner, at this time last year. Under the radar is what we wanted. Now, under the radar is what we got.
Tough Game for the Kitties
I, personally, think that the Colts will come out with emotional game. I know that the Kitties always play us tough, but that will not be enough in this match-up. It's going to take skill to outplay the emotional Colts this week. Gerrard will have to have one of the his best days as a profesional QB.
We saw what happened after the Colts 1st loss. To make sure it doesn't happen again, Gerrard must not make the "Leftwich like" errors.
Most likely, that the Kitties defense will keep the Colts offense under 25 points. But, their key to victory is to score, score, and score. Because you have to score enough points to beat the Colts.
It's simple, if the Kitties score more than 25, they win.
This is the Kitties chance to show who is tough in the South. It's also a chance for the Colts to show who the "Daddy" is.
Terry still wears a helmet
I would like to let all of you know that terry is a cowboys fan from western pennsylvania. That's right, he's born and raised in the east but he loves himself some cowboys. Wow, the anal leakage just keeps leaking.
This is out of control, I wish I had the fahgina to be a fan of the winning SB team. This guy was obviously raised in the time when the cowb***es won some SBs. I am very appologetic about sharring this with you, but this is just too much for me to keep in my head.
Oh snap! I'm 27, and the 49ers won some SBs in my teens, and I've neve been in the san francisco area, I missed it. I should've been a 9er fan this whole time. Right, terry?
Colts Run Defense vs. Tennessee
Alright, this is the game for our improved run defense to step up. This game is against one of the teams that lit us up for more than 200 on the ground. Also, I believe we(the fans) started booing our defense vs. Tennessee. This game will show how much our defense has improved in the past 9 weeks. And, look for 29 to continue on in his *sskicking ways.
Props to PlayoffPride
The colts have added a fullback to the practice squad. I rememeber, during the eagles game, PP mentioned how he wanted a FB. Well, now the Colts might have onehttp://colts.scout.com/2/596026.html. I don't know anything about this guy, but I do know that 29 will surely get more blocking help in short yartage situations.
Bad News
DT Reagor as http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2680505 reports, is done for the year.
This is just our injury luck this year. I am looking for us to sign another DT before the end of the regular season because of this. This is not good for the Colts, Montae is very much a team player and would've helped us in the playoffs.
We've haven't had 2 starting safeties, 1 or 2 starting LB, and 2 starting DTs. I really don't know what to expect anymore from our defensive players. They are doing all they can, with who the have available. I think Ron Meeks has done an admirable job with what he has.
I know that the Patriots are the only team allowed the "injury card", but we shouldn't be discounted under the circumstanses.
Terry wears a helmet
and not the kind football players play in.
The anal leakage he calls his thoughts have officially been let out of the crack (his brain.)
He is leaking that 18 is overrated. The words "overrated" and "Peyton Manning," have not been used in the same sentence since the 1998 NFL DRAFT. I remember all of the Leaf lovers, who leaked the same kind of "crap." Oh, wait, for what team did ryan leaf play last? oh yea, the cowboys. I guess his intentions are to leak to people that ryan leaf is better than 18 and that the cowboys make awsome personel moves.(Quincy Carter, two, vanderjagt, drew henson,...etc)
I can only come up w/two theories. Tha he is a big ryan leaf fan, which just isn't possible. No one in this world is a ryan leaf fan. The second, is that terry wears a helmet. Well, if he doesn't, he should, because no one should be leaking this crap out of their head.
I am not sure of his motivation for leaking this
Anthony McFarland
All of this, one player will not make a difference, is nonsense. Since the trade, Mr. McFarland has made a huge conribution to the Colts' Super Bowl run.
I have not looked at the run defense statistics, but they have got to to better than what they
used to before 92 got here. He, alone, has been disruptive in the middle and it looks like our LBs(even Gilber Gardener) are free to make plays. Rob Morris has looked probowlesque in the past couple of games. It seems like whoever makes the tackle(for us), is confident that he's not going to see a OL(to tackle), but a RB. And that is boosting our LBs confidence(and ability to make plays behind the line of scrimige.)
In conclusion, the return of 21 will make a significant difference, but the biggest difference in our defense we've already witnessed.
HEAD COACH
I guess Tom Moore recruited Tony Dungy, back in his "gopher" days. Tom Moore has been the Offensive Coordinator since 18 has been here, notice, longer than Dungy. This man is the brain of our football power. I know that Polian has the has given him the opportunity, but I think it might be time to give him the credit and the team.
I have a feeling that Dungy has something other than our HORSE to worry about. Tom Moore is all about coaching offensive football. We can hire some defensive specialist to take care of the defensive side (Monty Kiffin). I know that TM doen't want the HC tittle, so we can give it to Kiffin.
Dungy is going to retire after we win the SB this year. So, I am calling for this move.
Louisville at Rutgers
It's 2nd quarter, Louisville is up 25-14. Since I just got home, I only got to see the last score (Rutgers TD.) I am for Rutgers for 2 reasons: 1) I want nothing to do with anything that has to do with Kentucky, even if a part of it is in Indiana 2) Gary Bracket was a Rutgers MLB and captain
I am pretty sure that the NCAA does not want Rutgers to win this game, all hell would break loose if they do. Both of these teams are undefeated and Louisville will get a shot at the National Championship, if they win tonight. Rutgers has no chance to play in the for the title, even if they win. Hope I don't offend any Bears fans out there, but this is retarted.(that's right, all bears fans are retards) Sorry, let me re-phrase that, "all Bears fans that live in Indiana are retards."
Both of these teams are undefeated so far. Both of these teams are in the Big East Conference. I know that the Big East isn't the best competition, but neither is Big Ten this year.
If there isn't a fair tournamet format in NCAA football, then they cannot name anyone the National Champion. It seems like they give it to the team w/the best record, unless it's Rutgers.
Expected Briliance
We as Colts fans need to sit back and enjoy the show.
We have grown to expect briliance from our Colts. Since week in and week out they do not disappoint, we need to appreciate our team instead of picking them apart two days after their victory. Let's just let them, in Dwight Freeney's words, "do what they do."
It is an obsolute honor to have two of our LBs leading the NFL in tackles. Freddy K is a baller but I'm not going to worry about who should play SAM right now, I think all that will work itself out by the time playoffs start.
Sanders and Bethea played "lights out," and I believe will be the reason why we will win the SB this year. RBs seem to be hesitant to run beyond our LBs, when 21 is back there. Because they know that he will clean their clocks. Bethea covers the whole field. We could play cover 1 with his ability.
I am so excited to see our defense play it's potential. I just can't wait 'til Freeney and Mathis get on track, and start teeing off on QBs. Which will happen soon, since our run defense will tighten up shortly.
Hester Stat Change
If a Punt Returner fumbles the ball inside his own 10 yard line, I believe that he/she should get a negative one TD charged in their name. So from now on Hester only has one TD this season.
See, this is what happens when a team doesn't have any type of competition in the 1st seven games of the season, you get morons nomintating other morons(Hester) for ROY.
GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!!!
LSU at Tennessee
I'm watching this game, and cannot help it to admire LSU's DT Glenn Dorsey (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=161159). I hope Scott Polian has a good look at this human wrecking ball. He looks like a faster Corey Simon. The Vols have a damn good DT as well in Demonte' Bolden(http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=161065), but he is only a freshman. And, their DL doesn't seem to play one gap. I don't think that the Tennessee coaches know what they are doing, or how to use the talent around them. LSU's DL line seems to have the same scheme as ours, meaning that they stop the run on the way to the QB.
So I propose, we draft LSU's DTs. They seem like they would fit right in with our boys. I am sure Joseph "I need a nickname" Addai would do a good job at rectuiting.
I don't know about the rest of Colts fans, but I was an IU student, which kind of makes me a college football hater. But I do like to watch SEC fooball.
Mentally Weak "Spotted Kitties"
After week 7 loss to Houston, Ron Jaworski accused "Spotted Kitties" of being a mentally weak team, and he was dead on.
The reaction by Jack Del Rio was understandable(http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9763848), but some of their players have the nerve to bash Jaws for being correct in his criticism. To Rashean Mathis: Everyone knows what the "Spotted Kitties" are about, and it is: a talanted, hard hitting, but a mentally weak team.
I don't see anything wrong with Jack Del Rio using this to inspire his team in the locker room. But judging by the players' reaction after their win on Sunday, they still are a weak minded team and will be until they admit the fact.
I believe that step 1 of the 12 step problem, is admitting that you have a problem.
