Raps going after Lee?
I know this isn't exactly "breaking news", but what is your take on the Bosh situation if a deal with Lee was to go through?

3 Point Shooting
Some rambling thoughts after watching the last few games....
I am not a stat head like some of you here (would like to hear your take), but there seems to be a big drop in the long range game since the trades. The only concern I really had about getting rid of Noc was losing the long distance game. Without Noc ,BG and Kirk would be the only 3 point threats on the team.
Now, with some great acquistions, we lost a lot of dead weight in Hughes and Goo_en. We gained three good long range shooters in TiT, Salmons, and Miller (not sure you want Brad shooting too many out there, but he can make them) who are all averaging near or better than 40% for the long ball on the year. With these additions it seems to me that should be a bigger part of the offensive scheme (If Vinny even has one)
Not relying on jump shots would be a good change, but utiliizing the 3 point threats that are here would open up the floor for easier buckets inside.

We can't trade Larry, we need him....
He is without a doubt the least popular player in a Bulls uniform this year among most fans and definitely here on BaB. There have been many comments to trade him for anything we can get. To throw whatever we can into a package to move him.
I disagree, next to Rose, he may be the most valuable player on our team....
If the FA class of 2010 is really going to bring anything to Chicago we need to keep Larry. His expiring contract is worth more to the Bulls than any other player on the roster (Rose excluded of course). IMO If he will actually play at the level he has for the past two outings he won't be a detrememnt to the team and will get enough minutes to shut him up and keep peace in the locker room.
I don't think anyone is untouchable for trades except Rose and Hughes. Speaking of trades, if we are able to trade for a decent big man (Miller, Kaman, Przybilla, etc) in the mean time and win a few games we actually look like a good team for someone to sign with. We got the money and a winning club. I think Bosh is the most likely player to actually come here and would also be the best fit playing with Rose.
My biggest fear is nothing gets done over the next two seasons and Rose gets sick of playing here....
