Perhaps some people already saw this during its regularly scheduled hour on Sunday; I just saw it this morning.  Quentin Jammer was featured on the FSN show Sports Science to demonstrate the dangers of leading with the helmet on a spear tackle.

But they also had a little fun with him.  He performed a legal tackle on a dummy at full strength.  Basically, it was no different than if the dummy had been in a car wreck at THIRTY-FIVE mph.  Jammer generated something like 4400 lbs. of force.

As a UT alumnus, engineer, and a 'Horn fan, I was in head-over-heels geek love.
